Café Goldjunge Sülz — Restaurant in Cologne

The service is quite horrible, after 20 minutes of sitting down someone brought us a menu. After 30 minutes we got a coffee. And after 40 we still have not ordered our food.

If you don’t have 3 hours to spend in a cafe I would go elsewhere. Too bad as the food seems interestingly tasty. Hope they improve this so we can give it another try.

Freundlicher Service, sehr aufmerksamer Mitarbeiter (war scheinbar zum Probearbeiten eingeteilt), hochwertige Lebensmittel, tolles Brot 🍞 und nett angerichtet. Wir hatten für 9 Personen rechtzeitig reserviert und Frühstücksplatten für 16,90€ pro Person vorab bestellt. An und für sich ist der Preis okay, aber in Anbetracht der recht einfachen Einrichtung/Ambiente und lauten Kulisse trotzdem etwas zu hochpreisig. In der Speisekarte und online stand zudem, dass man ein kostenloses Getränke erhält, wenn man bei Instagram eine Story postet. Am Ende haben wir 5 Getränke abgezogen bekommen 👍🏻 In Summe war es dennoch sehr hochpreisig, dafür dass es keine teuren Lebensmittel wie Avocados oder Lachs gab (darauf wurde aber auch in den Speisekarten hingewiesen und war uns bewusst). Der selbstgemachte Hunmus (vier Varianten) war äußerst lecker, der Kaffee ☕️ war auch sehr gut und es gab Milchalternativen mit Aufpreis.
