Herr Pimock — Restaurant in Cologne

Don’t do this. We wanted to have breakfast for a good start of the day. When we came in -pretty cold morning in oktober- they said: we are going to leave the door and the window open so it could be cold, you just have to live with that. So we take place with our coat on. Very loud music, not very suitable for breakfast. Stressfull music and far to loud for a relaxed breakfast. Then there was all the time a lot of noise from boys in the kitchen. Their only concern was to catch up with each other, and not to comfort the guests. Our waitress warned them: ‘we have guests’ but that made no difference at all. The coffee was quick. But for the breakfast we had to wait for 30 minutes. We got the ‘scrambeled eggs with bacon’ without the bacon ‘because the kitchen had forgotten the bacon’. Around 10 minutes later there was bacon; the egg was cold by then, ofcourse. And last but not least the egg was with rye Bread instead of normal Bread. There was no explanation, but when we complained they said: sorry my college is at the bakery, we have no normal bread yet (10 hour 30!!!) We had to wait for bread with the egg for 15 minutes. Never again. Horrible...

The interior of this place is very hip and trendy but I didn’t have the best experience with their service and food. They forgot my order so I ended up waiting 30minutes until I asked if they could check my order. At least I had coffee and a sketchbook to keep me busy and entertained but I was starving lol. The next table who came five minutes ago got their flatbread at the same time as I did so it was pretty clear they forgot. But it’s a busy place so all I can say is it’s possible when you come here.

The salad was very soggy without any crunchy fresh bites. The tarte/flat bread was pretty sad looking with half cooked veggies (probably cooked fast to get the order out asap after I asked) Maybe the other dishes are better.

I gave three stars for the vibe of the place, the location, and the nice...

We were there on sunday. There was a rude waiter with dark hair and a white tshirt. First of all he was rudely couldn’t wait till we finish although there was not a lot of guests there! Secondly we ordered some beer and some fries. As we saw our fries didn’t come, we asked him and he said that the kitchen is out of service now and alone at the order time was the kitchen alrealy closed! (couldn’t he say us that as we ordered?!) And at the end there was a girl who charged us more as we checked in the menu, we asked her why she charged us more? She accepted it and gave our money back.
