STADTSALAT — Local services in Cologne

After 2 days inthe city where we only found hamburgers, or bakeries, we really need a good salad!! Searching online we found Stadtsalat, nice cozy restaurant, minimalist and original decorated, located in Rudolf Square. Large variety of fresh and original salads, each of them composed of a large variety of ingredients and really tasty, grest condiments too!! Delicious, congrats for the ingredients and seeds fusion!. Fruit salad also great, composed also of a large variety of fruits. We love it. Waiters are welcoming and helpful. Bathroom is clean and tidy. I did not give 5 stars because the touch screen pc where you place your order is written only in german. It was difficult for us to understand. The assistant offered us a menu (paper printed in english), just to find by name the salad we wanted on the touch screen in german, but in spite of that, we bought a sparkling water (it is 10 years I do not dring sparkling drinks due to my stomach problems) as we did not find the still one on the touch screen. Of couse Germany is more expensive than Italy. A salad in italy costs around 7 or 8 euro, here the cheapest salad was 11.50 euro, but it was really worth it, good...

Good place to grab something quick and healthy at reasonable prices (basically a German sweetgreen, even the bowls on their promo materials are hexagon-shaped). The interior isn't very inviting, and the ordering system with touch displays is more annoying than convenient. Taste is quite good overall, but ingredients could be fresher (I've had some romaine leaves with brown parts in every single order so far), and the proportion of organic ingredients could be higher.

Some things to improve: amount of dressing is not configurable it would be nice if I could select between tossed or not. It looks nicer if not tossed, but the dine-in bowls really leave no room to toss...

Ich bin Stammkunde und habe seit 2 3 Monaten durchgehend bestellt. Vor 1 Monat war eine Lieferung nicht so gut, woraufhin sie super darauf reagierten und mir Ubereats-Gutschein zusendeten (wobei die Mitarbeiterin meinte, dass sie das nicht tun bzw. können, sondern Ubereats den Gutschein schickt) . Jedoch habe ich vor einigen Tagen zu meinem Burrata-Salat für ca. 3 € Avokado hinzugefügt, aber der Salat kam ohne Avokado, worauf ich das in der Bewertung sofort meldete. Es wurde aber diesmal kein Gutschein von Ubereats gesendet. Ich habe den Laden sofort angerufen und die Dame meinte, dass es deren Fehler wäre und nannte mir eine Gutscheinnr. im Wert von Avokado, für das ich ursprünglich zahlte. Zudem meinte sie auch, dass sie mir das per Mail senden würde, was leider nie per Mail ankam. Diese Gutscheinnr., welche sie mir am Telefon nannte, stimmt irgendwie nicht und lässt sich bei denen auf der Webseite NICHT einlösen. Die war nett usw., aber ich muss sagen, dass ihr das auch gar nicht unangenehm war bzw. sie fand es auch nicht merkwürdig, dass das vergessen wurde. So wirklich entschuldigt hat sie sich auch nicht. Ich denke, einem Stammkunden gegenüber kann man deutlich mehr Kulanz zeigen. Sehr schade, denn die Salate sind super und ich weiß nicht, ob ich nochmals auf Ubereats bestellen werde. Es ist halt ärgerlich, wenn man einen Zusatz bestellt und dafür bezahlt, aber dann doch keine Entschädigung erhält, wenn es...
