Café Azalea — Restaurant in Dresden

Such a lovely café! Azalea is a cozy spot that is perfect to share breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon snack with a loved one.

I went here with my friend, who had already been here and really wanted to visit Azalea again, to have breakfast. The menu is pretty vast, with a lot of eye-catching options to choose from, and the prices are quite average for the area. We ended up going for an iced latte and tea for our drinks and pancakes and waffles for our food.

Unfortunately they did not have the iced tea that I ordered, so the lady serving us recommended us her favorite, and I ended up being glad that they did not have what I initially chose! It was a raspberry flavored iced tea with mint leaves, and it was so flavorful and sweet that it was perfect for breakfast (and I usually do not even like tea). My friend told me that her iced latte was also very good.

The true stars of the show, however, were the waffles and pancakes: the batter for both was excellent, and they were covered with toppings to the stars! My friend ordered a black forest waffle, with cherries, cherry compote, chocolate, and whipped cream, while I ordered Biscoff pancakes with bananas and strawberries on the side. They were seriously filling and extremely satisfying to eat, not to mention delicious!

The vibes were also really cozy and inviting: you can choose to sit both inside and outside, especially if you have a reservation, which you can make on their website. I would say that the indoors is cozier with the decor, but we sat outside because it was a really nice day with excellent, warm weather, and we greatly enjoyed ourselves.

All in all, I’d come back in a heartbeat because the desserts...

Das Café Azalea in Dresden hat mich mit seinem gemütlichen Ambiente und dem freundlichen Service überzeugt. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und modern, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Angebot an Speisen und Getränken ist zwar reduziert, aber dafür von hoher Qualität. Besonders die Brote und Waffeln haben uns geschmeckt, sie waren frisch zubereitet und lecker. Die Teller waren besonders schön angerichtet, was das Essen noch appetitlicher machte. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, aber die Qualität der Produkte rechtfertigt dies meiner Meinung nach. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe im Café und mussten leider etwas länger auf unsere Bestellung warten. Die Servicezeit könnte verbessert werden. Dafür war die Mitarbeiterin aber sehr freundlich und motiviert. Insgesamt kann ich das Café Azalea empfehlen. Es ist ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen...

Ein wirklich außergewöhnliches, süßes Lokal inmitten von Löbtau, mit tollem Blick auf den Bonhoefferplatz. Die Waffeln schmecken vorzüglich, fast besser aber ist das Eis. Frisch und perfekt cremig ergänzt es die Waffeln optimal. Die Auswahl an Zutaten und Kreationen sowohl von Waffeln als auch Eisbechern ist überwältigend und lädt zum mehrmaligen Besuchen ein. Da Personal ist sehr freundlich und geht super auf Kinder ein und auch insgesamt ist das Café perfekt auf Kinder eingestellt, Spielzeug, Babystühle und sowohl Toilettensitze als auch Hocker sind massig vorhanden.
