Da Nino Ristorante — Restaurant in Dresden

I would give Da Nino 7 stars if possible. This restaurant was such a complete surprise. We walked in spontaneously without reservations on a Thurs and thankfully seats in the packed restaurant. The food and service was the best I've experienced this year and saying this just having been to Sicily. We felt transported to a Sicilian village restaurant with excuisitely fine dining ran by a very jovial and charming owner who knew all his common guests. He's darting back and forth whilst humming a tune now and then contributed Immensely to the warm and cozy ambience. Coming to the food - spectacular does not suffice. Flavourful sauces topping wonderfully al dente Pasta, mouth-watering saltimbocca that was also a flavour explosion. If on offer, the dessert of the special icecream flavored with almonds is a must try no matter how full you are. This is now my favorite Dresden restaurant and I now consider it my life's challenge to try everything...

Ordered via ubereats for "buy one get one for free" Alla Contadina. From the pic it showed pasta but somehow they just sent me two pizzas. I got confused and tried to Google it, it's said online Alla Contadina is pasta. So they just made wrong things🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm not a pizza person and I cancelled the order. I didn't take the pizzas and I had to wait another 30mins to order something new. I tried to call them and on the phone the staffs were not so friendly, as if receiving the wrong order was my own fault or something…

Well sometimes the careless staffs can really ruin your evening ☹️ I don't recommend it here unless they can really make every order...

Das italienische Restaurant wird von einem herzlichen und quirligem Gastgeber betrieben und man fühlt sich beim eintreten gleich willkommen. Leider fehlt die italienische Leidenschaft ein wenig in der Küche.

Das Lokal selbst ist recht modern eingerichtet und es gibt sowohl innen, als auch im Außenbereich einige Sitzplätze. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich, so dass jeder etwas passendes, von Pizza über Pasta und Rissotto, bis hin zum Dessert findet. Hierbei sind die Preise für die Gerichte ein wenig über den Durchschnitt, aber die Getränke sind günstig.

Wir haben zum Mittag jeweils eine Pasta (Spaghetti Gamberoni) und eine Pizza (vegetale) bestellt. Die Pasta war al dente gekocht und hatte damit einen guten biss, aber in Summe hat ein wenig Sauce und Gewürze, in Form von Salz gefehlt, was dazu führte, dass das Gericht ein wenig fad war. Die Pizza vegetale war reichlich und gut belegt, wobei der Spinat ein wenig lieblos und ohne weitere Zubereitung (Salz, Pfeffer oder sonstige Gewürze) auf der Pizza sein Dasein fristete.
