SonderBar — Restaurant in Dresden

Best cocktail bar in town. A true hidden gem of Dresden, this bar is hidden in a more residential area of the town but don't be fooled. It can get crowded especially in the summertime. Mostly locals visit this place. The prices are a bit salty, but it is worth it in my opinion. They have delicious signature drinks and a lot of alcoholic free options. They have a small selection of snacka and finger food, but i do not recommend coming here expecting a full meal. The bar has a really cool decor. It feels super cozy and yet trendy and cool. This is one of the places to go, if you want to experience cocktails. This is not a place to go if you just want to get drunk, because the drinks are a bit on the pricier side, but it's a good address if you actually want to enjoy a good cocktail. The menu is pretty extensive and miraculously the 1-2 bartenders that usually man the location actually seem to be able to make all of them well. If you don't know what to drink they'll easily and competently recommend you something based on your preferences. It feels like the staff really cares for what they do...

Nach dem ich jetzt 5 Jahre regelmäßig in diese Bar gehe ist eine Bewertung meinerseits längst überfällig :

Ambiente: sehr gemütlich, leicht abgedunkelt, angenehm Hintergrundmusik. Für eine Bar absolut perfekt, vor allem die riesige Auswahl an Spirituosen ist der Wahnsinn. Mein Tipp ist ein Platz direkt an der Bar.

Bedienung: besser geht es nicht! Absolut kompetent egal ob hinter der Bar oder auch vorne im Service. Ruhig fragen wenn man nichts auf der Karte findet, sich nicht entscheiden kann oder einfach mal eine Beratung braucht, die Servicekräfte helfen gerne weiter und haben echt viel Ahnung.

Cocktails/Drinks: jetzt das wichtigste.... Die Cocktails sind der absolute Hammer, besser geht es nicht. Ich besuche diese Bar nun seit 5 Jahren regelmäßig und hat bis jetzt noch nie ein schlechten Cocktail. Die Barkeeper verstehen ihr Handwerk echt und stecken viel liebe rein. Auch für Whiskykenner absolut empfehlenswert. In Dresden wohl die größte Auswahl diesbezüglich. Als einer meiner Lieblingscocktails kann ich hier den Sazerac empfehlen.

Essen: ja auch essen kann man in dieser Bar und das noch nicht mal schlecht. Hier kann ich den SonderBarburger empfehlen. Sehr lecker sag ich nur.

Preise: für eine Cocktailbar meiner Meinung nach gute Preise. Man bekommt schon am 7€ einen guten Cocktail. Betrachtet man die auserwählten Spirituosen die an der Bar stehen gehen die Preise absolut in Ordnung.

Fazit: absolut empfehlenswert. Für Kenner und Genießer exquisiter Drinks kommt man in Dresden an der SonderBar nicht vorbei. Bedingungen und Barkeeper sind super freundlich und verstehen ihr Handwerk. Ich besuche diese Bar gerne und kann sie nur weiterempfehlen. SonderBar bitte weiter so........
