There are hardly times I rate 5 star to a restaurant. One of the classmates from my husband chosen this restaurant to organise ifter come dinner. When I heard about the place, as a foodie and reviewer I instantly went online to look at its rating. It was 4.4. So I was bit skeptical about the food then I thought, it’s all about the people we’re eating in a table with. We went there and I was really surprised to see such a beautiful restaurant. You’ll feel like you’re in an Arab country. They welcomed us with warm towel. We went inside, ordered food. Had long talks while they were serving the food one after another. As I ordered a meal, there was starter, main course and dessert. Even though the food was coming quite late and had to ask for things like 2-3 times then they provided which is completely excusable given the fact they’re understaffed yesterday and we were 20 people! Despite being understaffed they were extremely patient with a smile in their face. Now coming to the food. I loved the starters. Even thought they were the simplest food but everything tasted heavenly! I had beef filet, which I felt a bit lack of salt but it can be fixed. My husband took chicken. That was extremely tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. Then we had our dessert. It was the best baklava I’ve ever tried. They provided us complimentary bread. This was so tasty that we even wanted to order more! I wish more and more people get to know about...
Read moreThe brunch was very disappointing. We expected so much more. There's three courses, unfortunately nobody told us so we were stuffed after the first course. It consisted of dips, some Lebanese salads, a bread basket, falafel and extremely overcooked scrambled eggs. A lot of bread from the basket was stale, some of it was freshly baked but definitely not made in house (im thinking metro frozen flatbread). They didn't bother keeping the warm food warm, so the eggs and falafel were cold. The second course was much better. There were two chicken dishes that were alright (chicken kinda dry), some lamb with saffron rice, and minced meat patties in a well seasoned tomato sauce. Although it tasted good, you could tell it wasn't high quality meat. For "dessert" they put out some very weird tasting grainy rice pudding, yoghurt and fruit. So to sum it up, the price you pay is not worth it. I thought it was going to be an authentic Arabic restaurant, but they didn't even make the bread or falafel in house. They literally put out bread from the day before. The service was good, ambience was spot on, but the food is a 2/5. I really don't get all the 5 star reviews. Maybe people think this is what Arabic food is supposed to be? I don't know, but we won't be coming here again. Oh and also everyone had to wait outside in the cold to get in, even tho we all had reservations. What...
Read moreWonderful experience! We found this gem on social media and were too intrigued to not come by, and it was definitely worth it! We were kidnapped into a scenery of middle eastern beauty.
We tried their Sunday brunch and here is every point of our experience:
The food was great! They had something for everyone, vegan options and were happy to explain what the food infront of you even was. The desert was brought to our table and consisted of baklava and a mixed fruit salad! It was delightful.
The ambiance was more than we expected. Upon arriving you get greeted with open arms and at first you will need a second to comprehend the effect that the beauty of the interior design has on one. There were many hidden details like books, mosaics and more that give you a 1001 nights feeling.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Smiles on their faces made us feel very welcome. They came around often enough to fulfill our every need in a timewise great manner.
Overall we are satisfied with our experience and recommend a visit. The only thing that bothered us a bit was that it took a bit longer than expected to find a parking space and it was not in immediate perimeter of the...
