I first fell in love with Egg Drop in Seoul—those fluffy, buttery brioche sandwiches stuffed with creamy scrambled eggs, cheese, and all sorts of delicious toppings. Absolute heaven. And now, guess what? It’s finally in Düsseldorf! Of course, I had to check if it lived up to my Seoul memories. Verdict? Egg-citingly YES!
Dragged—I mean, introduced—my friend to this little café, and she was instantly hooked. One bite in, and we both just nodded at each other like, “Yep, this is it.” Soft bread, perfect eggs, choice of our favorite toppings and that sauce… chef’s kiss! And let’s not forget the strawberry matcha, which was the perfect mix of sweet, creamy, and earthy goodness.
Bonus points for the cozy atmosphere - great spot to chill, chat, and contemplate how many more sandwiches I can justify eating last week. If you love Korean street food or just want a damn good sandwich, this place is...
Read moreService was non-existent. Our table was filled with dirty dishes from previous customers. Workers were too busy to provide any help (which isn’t their fault that their boss didn’t hire enough ppl). On top of that the cream in their roll cakes were way too thick and greasy. Their red bean bread has way less red bean filling compared to the same product in other stores. The texture was also very dry. I did expect more than that given they were around 5€. There are way better Japanese/korean cafes in Düsseldorf for cheaper, and WITH basic service for example removing dirty dishes.
———update 16.04.2025——— Unfortunately they’ve been trying to take advantage of googles automatic decision by accusing me of defamation to take down my true experience again and again. Such a shame that instead of trying to improve they have to choose to deceive other customers....

Tried the Hokkaido cream cheese bun – 10/10 from me. Not too sweet, super fresh, lots of filling. My cousin got the taro mochi bun – also 10/10. Soft, just the right sweetness, nice chewy mochi inside.
Prices are fair, and the quality’s solid. Only downside: the cashier guy sighed pretty noticeably when we were taking a couple minutes to choose. We were the only ones there, first time visiting, just trying to decide what to try. Felt a bit unwelcome for no reason .
