Great service!! but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with a chicken neck on my plate. I was disappointed with the chicken dish. Piri Piri is supposed to be on the spicey side, but found it hard to feel any kind of heat. I had a healthy plate of bones at the end. For nearly 11 euros, I found it a bit expensive for the (bones excluded) protein on the plate, overcooked and on the dry side. Chicken is cut into small pieces which is why it drys out when fried. Possibly a Piri piri Sauce glaze would help? The home made potato wedges were lovely, and salad was bland with no dressing or condiments to dress it on my own. Having said that, the waiters are super! The ambience is excellent . Drinks and service also good. Recommended restaurant, I would go back for sure, but choose something else if you like a hearty spicey...
Read moreI went there this afternoon with my wife and Son....Really lovely restaurant...Very big welcome from the lady owner..The food was very good...The prawns to start were lovely ( but they should warm the dish up) My wife had the fish as a main course and was very happy...my son and I had the Chicken piri piri...we were a little disappointed as it was not cooked in the tradition kind of bbq grilled way, it was like it had been deep fried the potatoes in onion was woww..The desert was amazing the Pastel de Nata was wowww We took some home with us... The price was pretty normal and worth it...We will go back, but not have...
