I really enjoyed my time here. It's a busy bustling restaurant. You take a photo of the QR code and then you can order everything from your phone and it arrives very very quickly. I was impressed by the service Olaf really knew what he was doing. My only observation which was a negative was that they charge extra for mustard and indeed ketchup and it arrives in a catering plastic packet on your plate it's not very good mustard and considering where in the city of mustard that was disappointing. The ice creams are good but they're not amazing. I would return due to the enormous selection food here and was I saw passing on to other tables or look delicious

Nice restaurant in Media Hafen serving German cuisine. You can order over the app. If you have a large group, I strongly recommend one person order for the entire table so that there is no confusion. In our case we did not order “Frische Tagliatelle mit Gambas” but it was confusing as the waiter delivered and did not acknowledge the mistake. Finally, I got the corrected order “Frischer Fjordlachs” which was delicious and I enjoyed the meal with wine and Kölsch beer. For dessert I ordered, “Nougat-Espresso Brownie” which was quite a small portion but tasted delicious.

Wir sind mit 15 Leuten aus der Arbeit komplett spontan zum Eigelstein gegangen. Es war zwar schon relativ voll, aber wir haben einen Platz für alle gefunden. Der Service war stets bemüht zu helfen und hatte immer den Überblick behalten. Vielen Dank dafür. Bedingt dadurch, dass der Laden so voll war und wir nur eine knappe Stunde Mittagspause hatten, hatte ich die Befürchtung, dass das Essen nicht rechtzeitig kommen würde. Ich habe mich getäuscht, das Essen war trotz der Personen Anzahl und des gut besuchten Lokals relativ zügig bei uns. Zu essen gab es eine deftige Gulaschsuppe, die mir wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Hat mich ein wenig an Omas Gulaschsuppe erinnert, das hat was zu sagen, da diese wirklich perfekt war. Zu trinken gab es eine Cola mit einer großzügigen Zitronenscheibe. Preisleistungstechnisch ist das Eigelstein wirklich vollkommen in Ordnung und es gibt nichts zu meckern. Mein einzig negativer Aspekt wäre die Geräuschkulisse innerhalb des Ladens. Es war wirklich sehr schwierig, sich mit seinem Sitznachbarn oder seinem gegenüber zu unterhalten. Dies lag an der großen Anzahl der Besucher. Ich weiß, dies kann man nicht wirklich ändern, wie denn auch, aber ich muss das trotzdem schreiben da es mich teilweise wirklich gestört hat. Alles in allem kann man sagen dass das Essen, Trinken und die Preise vollkommen in Ordnung sind. Vielleicht geht ihr nicht unbedingt in der Mittagspause dorthin wenn ihr eure Ruhe haben wollt. Sonst gibt es eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. 👍🏻

I came for lunch and had a great experience. Wait staff was very friendly and helped decide what to order after finding out the 40cm bratwurst was only for dinner. Ended up going with the Frische Bratwurst with pan fried potatoes instead of mashed potatoes and was not disappointed. Added a mini Gaffel Kolsch from Cologne after the waiter told me it's the best in town. Overall great location, awesome service and reasonably priced lunch.

Best (while only) place in Düsseldorf to drink Kölsch beer. The outside seating is close to a street but offers lot of sun, even in the afternoon. Food is of average quality but what counts is the great beer. The interior isn‘t really comparable to a Kölsch brewery but offers lot it space, even for large groups. Definitely great for a few beers and a snack but not much more. Cheers! 🍻

The place with a lot of space - inside and outside. The food is tasty, meat dishes are nice, I enjoyed my cheeseburger. Unfortunately waiters forgot all the time to bring our kölsch 🍺 (but it was Friday evening so it’s understandable). And I am a fan of the service when you can order directly in your mobile phone and pay via PayPal - it’s very efficient and time saving feature :)
