Terrible service - first there were two bugs in my mint tea because they didn't wash the mint properly and the waitress was a bit moody when changing this then the same waitress shortchanged us 5 euros then had a go at us when we pointed it out saying we should have noticed right away as she was doing it (we noticed 5 seconds later but she had already left) - she said people do this all the time - basically implying we were trying to steal from her. When we said there was no need to be rude she started arguing that it was our fault. The change she gave us made no sense and would not have been right for any note and when correcting her mistake -reluctantly - she gave us too much change proving the woman has no basic maths skills. As we left it was obvious she was slagging us off in german to the other staff. Disgusting. My mum and me are in dusseldorf airport due to a cancellation on our original flight so we were already having bad luck having never meant to be in Germany at all today. Not a great first impression. If you think these comments don't reflect who you are and what you do, fix yourself. It is easier than trying to convince unhappy customers on Google Reviews.
Weird place like many places in Dusseldorf Airport but this is extra weird. I wanted to buy water, coffee and a sandwich. Sandwich to take away in package. They said I can only order to eat everything to eat here or everything to take away. They are super slow and grumpy, nothing tasty here either.
I hope they bankrupt soon because after reading others' comments on their involuntary tips on the receipts, changing prices on the counter vs at the table, not allowing laptops, racist comments and behaviors, I realize I am not the only one who has a bad taste in her mouth after this horrible...
Read moreIt was the morning, and I could see other people were already sitting down to a beer. I tried to order one and the female staff member began laughing at me and calling her colleague over to tell him how funny it was. He looked embarrassed by her behaviour and said I could sit down to order.
I sat down, ordered, paid and left, but was so annoyed by the whole experience that I went back and (politely) told the man at the counter that his colleague had been extremely rude.
I see from other reviews that I am not the first to experience this, but clearly Goodman&Filippo aren't taking their customer complaints seriously. It's extremely unfair on the rest of the team who were professional.
Spend your money at The White Monkey instead, they were pleasant and more than happy to...
