The interior design is minimalist in style with fun details, such as movable semicircular tables along a metal rail.

My flat white is impeccable in both flavor and presentation.

While I read my book, there were couples chatting, solo workers, mom and/or dad with strollers and babies. A subdued hum breezes through the place, but nothing to really distract me from my reading, miraculously. Even the regular rolling and roaring of trams right in front of the cafe somehow adds to the charm of the place.

Have to be back to try the cakes. —Just did that. The carrot cake is dope!

Food and drinks seem to be the same as in the other location, which I love and visit regularly. Unfortunately, this place for me was overwhelmingly crowded and noisy and had less of the cozy atmosphere I know from Flingern. There was also no table service. Auch diese MERCY-Filiale ist immer einen Besuch wert! 😊 Hier findet man alles, was es auch im ersten MERCY gibt - und sogar noch mehr! Neu sind hier z.B. die Smoothies (green, yellow und red - alles vegan). 🍹 Das Personal ist super aufmerksam und freundlich, z.B. hat man mir, weil der vorhandene schon etwas wehleidig aussah, mal eben schnell einen neuen Bagel zubereitet, ohne, dass ich es hätte ansprechen müssen. 😇 Das Café ist sauber, hat einen cleanen Look, aber keine sterile, kalte Atmosphäre, ganz im Gegenteil. Hier gibt es zwar kein Klavier, aber dafür sehr viel Platz durch verschiedene, raffinierte Sitzgelegenheiten. Außerdem ist das Café lichtdurchflutet und hat nicht nur einen, sondern gleich zwei Außenbereiche. Wenn man das bunte Treiben der Stadt mag, kann man sich zur Kreuzung hin gemütlich ans Fenster lehnen und anderen Leuten beim Geschäftigsein zugucken.
