Royal Perla Porto — Restaurant in Dusseldorf

My wife and I stopped in here the other night for supper. The entrance was along the boardwalk - the metal stairs were a little larger than a normal stride, but shouldn't pose a problem to most. We were quickly met and seated in a nice table for two. The decor and atmosphere are very nice and their outdoor eating area would be a great draw in the warmer weather. We ordered a couple starters before our meal - Bruschetta and the Caprese Salad. Both were very good and made for great sharing between us. There was also some complimentary focaccia bread for dipping (also nice). My wife ordered the Ravioli Burro E Salvia - it tasted very good but lacked a bit of seasoning. I ordered the Gnocci Spinaci E Grachi - it was good, but I also found it lacked a bit of seasoning. Another strange part of this meal was how the cheese was placed on topl. Instead of grating fresh cheese after the meal is presented, slices of cheese were placed on top of the meal before coming to the table. Overall, it was very good. NIE MEHR WIEDER! DAS WARS PERLA PORTO!!!

Ich war hier Stammkundin! Seit einem Jahrzehnt besuchte ich das Lokal .. es geht nur noch bergab! Service und Essen .. und der Mann, der sich als Chef ausgibt - Katastrophe! Geht lieber zu McDonalds oder in eine heimische Pizzeria!!!! Da werdet ihr nicht mit eurem Geld veräppelt!

Letztes Mal waren wir mit 20 Leuten dort. Und jetzt vor kurzem wieder als eine Gruppe! Wir wurden nicht beachtet und es war nichtmal halbvoll. Wir haben 4h in dem Laden verbracht, 4h!!! Und das nicht freiwillig! Wir mussten das Personal mehrmals auffordern uns zu beachten, an den Tisch zu kommen etc.

Ich wollte schon selbst mit anpacken. Ihr habt mich total blamiert!

Was wir nicht wollten und nicht gegessen haben, mussten wir TROTZDEM ZAHLEN!!!

Da puzzelt der „Chef“ sich selbst eine Rechnung zusammen und wirft uns vor, dass wir nie an die Öffentlichkeit gegangen wären!

Corona-Auflagen? Nein, hier nicht! Keine Namen und Adressen hinterlassen, keine Nummern!

Damals habe ich es gerne empfohlen und damit ist jetzt Schluss!!!

Außerdem wünsche ich, dass mich die für den Laden zuständige Person kontaktiert! Ich fordere das zu viel abgezogene Geld zurück!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Es waren keine QR-Codes auf euren Speisekarten! Akzeptiert eure Fehler!!

Ja klar Dienstleistung .. die jeweils nach 40 Minuten kam! Man isst nicht 4h lang freiwillig!!

Die ach so liebe Aufsichtsperson stand nur dort, weil sie uns zu viel Geld abrechnen wollte! Und zwar für eure Fehler! Genau wie der Kellner, der uns einfach ins Gesicht gelogen hat! Wer wo wann rein und rausgeht war euch auch egal!

Und immernoch beschuldigt ihr den Kunden! Als hätten so viele Personen ohne Grund was zu meckern! Peinlich. Ich schreibe nicht umsonst so viel!

Ihr habt hiermit bewiesen, dass ihr es nicht wert seid, jemals (wieder) in euer Lokal zu gehen. Jedes Geld, dass ihr durch mich und meine Empfehlungen bekommen habt, soll euch nur reicher machen! Damit ihr uns vorwerfen könnt, uns würde das Geld doch nicht fehlen und dann einfach mehr berechnen!

A nice restaurant worth especially for its great location and outdoors.

Food is tasty, but on a northern European style. Too much butter, cream and cheese that do not exist in traditional Mediterranean food. The menu is also quite extensive which is always a sign of "mass base cooking" which necessarily reflects on the final results.

It is still a good option in the area, especially in the Summer or for big groups, given the space available.

Service is very kind and attentive.
