The food is fine, nice decorated but the cooking could be better, especially taking into account the prices. My Steak was salty which disturbed the taste of meat and came bearly warm, the vegies were not fresh. In cocktails is bearly to taste smth except the juices or cola. Another metter is the personal. Firstly unfriendly hostes that almost threw us impolite to the reserved table. The waiter R was caring the mask (protective measures against Covid-19) at his neck, NOT at the face and the distance obviously was less than metter, he was talking to us without protection face to face. The whole evening the waiter was sarcastic and disrespectful. Our table was full of dirty plates because he came only few times pick up the glasses. To get the menue & order the desert with drinks we have to waited 50 mins, which is unacceptable. After we asked the bill, he was walking around 30 mins, after some time searching the machine to pay, and in the end said that we need to pay inside. So we were standing and waiting for him inside for around 10 min. So the dinner was more than 4h and mostly bcs of the waiting. The worst experience of my life. Two and a half hours to get something to eat, with a strong smell of cigarettes and such a loud music that you can’t even communicate with the person sitted in front of you. A waiter dropped the pizza on the floor while we all were waiting for food (you can imagine the reaction of the guest that was waiting for his pizza. The owner never showed to apologize. Indeed when we asked to decrease the volume of the music (not just us not also other people were complaining) he didn’t consent, and replied that if we are not happy we should have leaved. My husband and I pointed out that it we were waiting for food since hours and we would have already left if it would have arrived. I forgot to mention that I’m 8 months pregnant but that didn’t stop them to treat me badly. Cheery on the cake a very expensive bill, after such a disaster dinner and hours of waiting not even a bottle water was offered. Btw they are promoting themselves as Italian restaurant but...

I had a reservation on September 22nd with 10 girlfriends for a girls night out, we are all new expats in Dusseldorf. When it came time to pay our bill the waiter over charged our credit cards by 200 euros. When we called him out on the overcharge he got very snippy with us and only gave us back 100 euros back after we demanded we talk to the manager. All of us were highly upset that he tried to steal so much money from us, and we assume he did it because he thought we would not notice. I would NOT recommend going to this restaurant and if you do look at your bill VERY closely. I am especially concerned because even after money was stollen from us, and I contacted the restaurant via email they didn't bother to call me or respond to the issue.
