This Japanese restaurant is absolutely worth a visit! I’m originally from Taiwan and now living and working long-term in Germany, and this is the very first place in Düsseldorf that I’ve given a five-star rating on Google — and it’s well deserved.

The atmosphere is fantastic. The music is tastefully selected, creating a relaxing and welcoming vibe as soon as you step inside. Although the space is relatively small, every corner shows thoughtful design details that make the place feel cozy and refined.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. My German isn’t very good, but I had no problem ordering in English. Some of the staff also speak Japanese, which makes the experience even more accommodating for international guests.

Now let’s talk about the food — absolutely delicious. From the main dishes to the side dishes, everything was prepared with great care. The ingredients are well-balanced, the flavors are layered and refined, and the overall taste truly reflects the spirit of authentic Japanese cuisine. As someone who has traveled to Japan more than ten times, I can confidently say that this restaurant ranks among the best Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf.

All in all, as a Taiwanese living in Germany, I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high-quality Japanese food. This was the first time I’ve felt excited enough to give a full five-star review in this city — and I’m already looking forward to...

Erstmal Kritik vorweg: Der Matcha Cheesecake schmeckte mir leider überhaupt nicht :( schmeckte richtig seltsam herzhaft, und weder nach Cheesecake noch nach Matcha. Als ich einen Matcha To Go bestellte, schien mir der Becher etwas kleiner als das Glas was ich mit dem selben Getränk im Café sah, also die Größe hatte mich etwas enttäuscht. Die Preise sind erhöhter, dafür bekommt man hier aber immerhin Qualität. Ist dann aber preislich eher eine Gönnung, als dass ich hier regelmäßig hin käme (wobei aber erwähnenswert die Kaffeepreise super sind wenn man keinen Aufpreis zahlen muss). Was mir nicht gefällt ist der Aufpreis von 50 Cent für Hafermilch (es wird auch Biomilch verwendet, denke nicht dass die so viel günstiger ist als Oatly, als Veganerin werden regelmäßigere Besuche damit automatisch viel teurer).

Auf der anderen Seite ist es hier total gemütlich und auch liebevoll, man fühlt sich super wohl. Das Geschirr ist zb sehr süß, die Plätze sind super hergerichtet (ich mag den länglichen Tisch mit Blickrichtung draußen sehr gerne) und die Atmosphäre ist super angenehm, nicht zu laut und entspannte Musik (Lautstärke gut gewählt). Das Essen konnte ich noch nicht probieren, es sieht aber schonmal sehr gut aus. Man hat generell das Gefühl, dass hier viel Liebe drin steckt. Die Mitarbeitenden fand ich sehr sympathisch und freundlich und die Lebensmittel haben gute Qualität. Der Apfel -Zimt Kuchen war sehr lecker und besonders begeistert hatte mich der Strawberry Matcha Latte - wie oben erwähnt, hätte ich mir zwar eine etwas größere Größe gewünscht, aber er war wirklich unschlagbar. Vom Geschmack her der beste Matcha den ich je in einem Café getrunken habe, man schmeckt die Qualität (Transparenz beim verwendeten Matcha ist gegeben, man muss nicht extra nachfragen👍) und der Matcha wird hier auch so wie es sein soll mit Chasen und Matchaschale zubereitet,...

Tammani - Great for a break and a tasty treat!! I stopped at Tammani for a little pick-me-up while exploring the neighborhood. The cafe has a nice atmosphere, with simple decor and a bright and airy ambiance. There's outdoor seating if you prefer to be out in the fresh air. The staff are friendly and helpful.
