Pizzeria San Giorgio — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

Celebrated my son’s 14th birthday here on August 2nd. We were blown away by the amazingly friendly service and delicious food. We were 12 people, from the US, France, Romania, and of course Germans, and every single one of us LOVED this place. Damir even helped me parallel park my car 😂❤️😂. They even gifted my birthday boy a fine bottle of wine (which he will enjoy in 7 years😄) and my friend was able to take home the cute little wine pot she loved. At the end of the evening, my American son exclaimed “this was the best birthday ever!”. Grazie! Danke! Merci!...

Very bad customer service. The two guys who were supposed to take the orders barely understood anything in English (or they didn’t want to?). They were aggressive in taking and handling our order and they exaggerated that a takeaway pizza would take an hour for it to finish when in fact it eventually took them around 15 minutes. Anyways the food was good but would never recommend the place for the poor...

Geschäftlich in Freiburg unterwegs und im Gasthaus Rössle einquartiert hatte ich am Abend Lust essen zu gehen.

Also ging ich auf Empfehlung in die Pizzeria San Giorgio, die all meine Erwartungen übertroffen hat.

Als erstes hatte ich einen gemischten Salat mit Thunfisch. Grosszügige Portion mit frischem Salat und Gemüse. Sehr schön angerichtet und auch anzuschauen.

Danach hatte ich eine Pinsa. Dieser Teig war wie in der Speisekarte beschrieben, aussergewöhnlich luftig und einfach super lecker. Das Fleisch sowie die übrigen Zutaten waren sehr gut und haben perfekt harmoniert.

Der Dessert hat das ganze perfekt abgerundet und war ebenso genial. Leider weiss ich dessen Namen nicht mehr, jedoch ist es die Spzialität des Hauses San Giorgio.

Mein Fazit: ein Gaumenschmaus...🤤

Das Ambiente ist sehr heimelig und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es kommen sofort Feriengefühle auf und man fühlt sich direkt wie in Italien.

Die Betreiber und das Servicepersonal sind mega aufgestellt und sehr freundlich....einfach top. Und für alle Frauen, auch ein Hingucker🙃
