What a pleasant dinner I just had at this place with two friends.
Service was great. They got us a table without prior reservation. We asked house specials Inside Out sushi rolls and a selection of beef slices covered in an awesome red sauce with garlic(items 46 and 69 in the menu). We “forbid” the waitress removing the remains of the sauce from #69 😅.
After that we ordered 3 different curries. In my case, red curry(including coconut in the curry) with crispy chicken. Curry was creamy and with just the right amount of spiciness. It came with side rice and a bed of slices potatoes and broccoli between the chicken and the curry. The crispy chicken was good. Nothing especial about it except leaving the stage to the curry.
The plating and the plate were awesome in my opinion. Portions very good too.
The only observation was that one of my friends ordered a mango curry and he couldn’t identify the mango taste on it. Perhaps it was a mistake, perhaps the description is a bit misleading. We’ ll never know.
All in all, it as a very pleasant experience for me. I can 100% recommend this place to those fan of the Japanese Curry. I’m not sure of the curry served in this place is indeed Japanese nor it was explicitly mentioned but it certainly have lots in common with them.
Ohh, I almost forgot. I also ordered a White Geisha sake based drink. It was good. I don’t particularly remember it as an outstanding element of the dinner because I was too busy on...
Read moreI would give a 10 star if possible, except for a waitress that is very unpolite there. The food is really really delicious, my family loved it and we tried to come back another day but unfortunately it was full.
The only problem is a waitress that is really not polite and aggressive. First time there she was hurrying us up to order food although the kitchen would still be open for another hour. We were drinking wine and waiting a bit to order the food, but she was saying that if we did not order in a few minutes we would not be able to eat and that the workers had to go back home in time. Really unnecessary approach.
The second day (today) that we tried to go there we asked for a table and she said that without a reservation we could not enter, so far so good. But than she did not gave an option or told us at what time it would be free, so I had to ask and she said 9pm in a manner that looked like she was doing a favor. I decided to call and ask for a table and got the info a table would be free at 20:30 (when she said 9pm).
Like i said, if she is not your waitress your experience and food there will be perfect, but if she is your waitress the experience is damaged, she is unpolite, not patient at all and they way she treats the costumer looks like she is doing a favor...
Read moreFood was good, but the waiter we got unfortunately made it a bad experience. Went there during a Saturday, and the waiter (not too polite) seated us with a big table explaining that we could sit there if it was ok for us to sit with other people - which was totally fine. When we were ordering, in both english and german (since we were a bilingual group) he asked us if we could decide on ordering in one language since it got a bit confusing for him. Once we had gotten our food, he came to the table once more and asked if we could move to another table, so we had to move all plates and glasses by ourselves, but eventually his colleague saw it and helped us move the rest (seeing this our main waitress also eventually came to help move the last bits). When we had finished eating, he didn't ask if we wanted dessert, he just told us that we had been there two hours already so he suggested paying and leaving. This guy was not keen on showing service, it felt like he was trying to pull off a cool-kid attitude towards the customers. Very unfortunate, especially since my friend who has been here several times and always had a good experience (with the colleague who helped us move the stuff), said is was the worst service she had...
