When I and my family ate here we expected to have a good dinner on the last evening of our holiday. I ordered an Americano pizza and a Tiramisu dessert after. Needless to say, both the food and drinks were good, and nicely priced. Especially the drinks and desserts were cheap considering how much you got.
The best part of this restaurant might be the service, it is top notch, friendly, and funny aswell. We had 2 male waiters on the front of the restaurant, outside. While I am not the biggest fan of service getting too friendly in restaurants, as I've been nervous of eating out in the past, it really grew on me and was great to see.
The pizza was nicely filled, and had a really great crust and bottom, not too thick or thin, and tasted great. The Tiramisu was good, nothing really special but plain good, with some nice decoration on the plate. It also was twice as big as the tiramisu I got in most italian restaurants I've been to.
In short it's a great restaurant, with good food and drinks for a cheap price, with definitely one of the most fun and friendliest services...
Read moreExcellent food, me and my wife just ate our meals in La Perla this afternoon. The flavor of the beef Lasagna and Seafood Spaghetti are very authentic & delicious 😊
The waiter is very nice & friendly as well, knowing that we were catching up the train within 1-hour (5PM local time train) - they were very accomodating to serve our food quickly within about 7 minutes after we ordered (and still very tasty though).
For dessert, we ordered Tiramisu with vanila ice cream. The Tiramisu is soft, smooth, and not too sweet. My wife has tried local Italian Tiramisu a couple years back when she visited Italy, and she told me the Tiramisu in La Perla is very authentic - exactly the same flavor & texture with the one she tasted in Italy before.
Overall, we are very pleased & satisfied with the dining experience in La Perla, we were very lucky to find authentic Italian food in Fussen (we followed Google's recommendation), will definitely come back to dine in La Perla when we visited Germany again next time, grazie...
Read moreA fun little Italian eatery in the heart of Fuessen. Good food and great service. The portions were hearty and the staff was jovial and a joy to be around. The only bad note was one of the kitchen staff decided to smoke a cigarette just outside a back door when we were there, causing one customer to become irate and actually leave the restaurant. The waitress denied that anyone was smoking, but then we proceeded to hear her berate the kitchen staff in Italian for smoking (haha!). We found it all amusing… especially the part where they didn’t think anyone else spoke Italian around them ;-)
A light moment for us… and a pretty good restaurant. This example just shows how down to earth this place is. Just like a family restaurant… not stuffy and pretentious. Even if there was a little cigarette smoking...
