Pizzeria Rucola — Restaurant in Gütersloh

Outdoor seating is available for this tiny pizzeria. Inside there are 21 stools between the bar and 3 tables. There are regular chairs and tables outside along with a table that has a heater above it. But the premium outside seating are in giant barrels that are enclosed and heated. One is a two seater, and another looks to seat 4-6 people. The staff is courteous, friendly and attentive. You can watch the food being made from any table. We had a caprese salad with fresh arugula instead of basil. We had two pizzas, a pizza picante, which was a little to spicy for the Mrs. For her, we ordered the mushroom and artichoke hearts with mozzarella (not pictured). Both were light and delicious. The crust is delicious and thin. We look forward to trying another pizza or two the next...

"Ein eher enttäuschendes Restaurant. Bei jedem Besuch fällt mir auf, dass die Pizza sehr salzig ist. Dies bemerkt man jedoch erst nach mehrmaligem Essen dort. Es scheint, als sei diese Salzigkeit geschickt durch den Geschmack von Knoblauch und Öl, die die Grundlage bilden, sowie den Zucker in den Tomaten, der durch Beläge wie Lachs, Meeresfrüchte usw. verdeckt. Bitte seid vorsichtig mit diesem versteckten weißen Gift namens Salz, das man leicht übersieht, wenn man in Eile ist und einfach nur den Hunger stillen möchte.

Zudem scheint es keinerlei Weiterentwicklung zu geben, das Sitzplatzangebot ist begrenzt, und die Atmosphäre lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Tatsache, dass es eng und klaustrophobisch ist, trägt dazu bei, den Stress zu verstärken. Ich bin zu La Trattoria gewechselt, und weitere Kommentare werden folgen."

A poor eatery place.Each time I go I find the pizza very salty .You only realize it after you eat many times there, to discover that this saltiness is cleverly hidden by the taste of garlic and oil , which is a basis, plus the sugar in tomatoes , added to that the tppings you order like salmon, seafood, etc.Guys, please be careful about this hidden white poison called salt which you do not mind when you are on the rush and just wanna quieten your hunger. Moreover there is no development happening, poor seating options, , near to null atmosphere. The fact that it is no narrow and claustrophobic builds up if not adds to your stress. A nice Italian located in a side street in Gütersloh (we found it on Ernst Buschmann str, not Berlinerstr so there may be multiple entrances).

Very small and we had to wait for a table (they rushed a couple to finish paying to seat us which was surprising).

The food was very nice and despite being full, promptly served. It seemed to be popular as, as soon as one table emptied it would be filled by new guests.
