Absolutely delicious. We walked in on a Saturday at 6pm and had a reservation. At first I thought, well, the reservation wasn't even needed, as it seemed pretty empty but not even 10mins later a steady stream of customers came and the restaurant filled up quickly. Nontheless, with or without reservations, everyone was always seated, no one had to wait. Our service was extremely friendly. They had 2-3 servers working at any given moment and they were very attentive. The food came and boy, the presentation alone was outstanding. The plates came pre-warmed, the rice in a big bowl for everyone to take from and our dishes in individual little bowls over little candle warmers. I was in awe. Then came the first bite. I had Mango Duck and wow! It was so juicy and tender and the sauce was absolute perfection to me. I loved everything about it. Same for my husband who had Chicken Jalfrezi. I also truly appreciate that they serve plain fries and similar simple dishes for children who might not be able to appreciate this outstanding Indian cuisine. Afterwards I ordered Mango Creme with Vanilla ice cream and Gulab Jamun (fried quark cheese balls in a type of honey sauce)... I died and went to heaven. The only thing missing is a stretcher to carry people who ate way too much (like me), back to their cars. This restaurant is an absolute gem!
I'll have to take photos...
Read moreIt cost us over $60 for a family of 4 to have dinner here one night. Everything was separate, rice, bread etc. and with each main course being between 12 and 14 Euro. You would expect it to come with the necessary components to eat it, but no it didn't. When the main dishes did get to the table, the portions were so TINY, no chance of sharing them at all, ridiculously tiny compared to the price you're paying. They were basically a small dish of sauce with a couple, 3 at the most, pieces of chicken and that's about it, very skimpy. Lastly, when we went, they didn't accept cards, cash only, but they didn't tell us that until we were ready to pay. Thankfully, we had Euro on us, but a warning beforehand telling us the card machine was down would have been nice had we not been prepared for that. Ultimately, it was over priced and pretty basic food, we all left hungry so went home and ate frozen pizza. If you all want GOOD, Indian or Thai Food, check out O.sha in Nuremberg. You won't be...
Read moreOrdered a chicken curry with cream, almond and coconut(#121) for meal entree. Butter naan for side dish. Mango lassi for drink.
Presentation: Food and drink were esthetically pleasing. Environment and atmosphere were comfortable and felt lively and buzzed with excitement.
Taste: Food were decent, but nothing to brag about. My dish was a bit sweet and a tad hint of spice, as described in the menu.
Price: Price itself isn't high(mid ten), but be advised the portion size is small. Price tag and portion size didn't match.
Additional notes: We were a table of five. All our food portions were small and took over an hour to be served. Reservation were made for 1920.
Overall: If you are craving an Indian dish and are unable to find a better option, go for it, but personally I won't be a returning customer on...
