Hermes Restaurant — Restaurant in Halle (Saale)

Me and my husband came when it start raining outside. We ordered a peppermint tea, black beer and a warm appetizer for both of us, because we are not so hungry. But as a customer, we expecting a standard price with an equal service with another guests, especially with an expensive menu in this restaurant. We saw the guests beside us and behind us, they got an apparative before the main menu, just us did not get anything. We also get no free liquor after finish. Maybe because we just entered the restaurant when it was heavily raining, so maybe we look like a poor tourist and did not look as good as the other guests. The floor are so slippery, they need to clean it more to avoid an accident. The waiter also look so unfriendly when we say we would like to pay with a ec-card. Isn't it normal nowadays in Europe to pay anything with ec-card? The only good thing about this restaurant is just the delicious food. I'm hoping to get a better service for 23€ ( appetizer and drinks ) in one...

Sehr empfehlenswert. Ich besuchte das Lokal bisher zweimal, es fiel beide Male sofort als erstes das herzliche, freundliche Personal auf (also von allen Mitarbeitern fühlt man sich hier einfach Willkommen geheißen, :-) .) Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet, und auch außen ist es nett zu sitzen. Bisher fand ich das Essen,welches ich aus griechischen Restaurants in Deutschland kenne, nicht so besonders erhebend ( eher vorwiegend sehr fettig, uninspiriert, gefühlt " schnelle gastronomische Abfertigung", schmeckt schon, aber wie eben ein Burger von ner Fastfoodkette auch "gut" schmeckt, wie Imbissbude, leider) , hätte ohne Einladung auch stets was anderes gewählt. Aber, ich wurde hierhin zweimal eingeladen und mag dieses griechische Restauran nun sehr gern. - Das erste Mal hatte ich nicht viel Hunger, somit "nur" eine Vorspeise bestellt, Vorspeise :"Scampi" (mit Feta überbacken). Sehr lecker, und ich sah und schmeckte, dass es mit Liebe zubereitet wurde, schön angerichtet auch. es sah schon toll aus und hatte tolle Aromen. Übrigens war es mehr als ausreichend,ich war seeehr satt.... und das andere Mal zum Mittagstisch: sehr guter Preis erstmal. Und es geht sehr zügig (was ja wichtig ist, wenn man in der Mittagspause kommt), - Es gibt eine Vorsuppe und dann das gewählte Hauptgericht. Die Vorsuppe variiert, wie meine Begleitung sagte, z. B. Tomatensuppe mit Reisnudeln. Als wir essen waren, gab es eine Hühnerbrühe mit feiner Hühnerfleischeinlage, sehr lecker.Direkt nachdem wir ausgelöffelt hatten, kam der Hauptgang. Ich hatte gewählt: "Rinderleber+Gyros mit Pommes und Tzatziki". Die Portion war perfekt, der Teller schön mit Salat angerichtet. Alles schmeckte super, und vor allem die Leber: -schön gegrillt, innen saftig zart.... hier kann man sich wohlfühlen und zum angemessenen Preis gut verweilen und speisen.. Fotos : Vorspeise "Scampi", Hauptspeise "Souflaki" und eine weitere Vorspeise (ein Salat? ) , hab vergessen, was, jedenfalls sahs ansprechend aus und schmeckte demjenigen sehr gut.... I had a lovely experience at this Greek restaurant. The food was really enjoyable — especially the meat, which was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The side dishes didn’t look particularly appealing, but the quality of the meat more than made up for it.

Drinks were decent — tasty but nothing out of the ordinary.

The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal, which added to the overall positive experience.
