Amazing place. I don’t speak German so tried my limited Serbo-Croatian instead. The guy was happy but not shocked, which I took to mean that the place is popular with the diaspora 😊

Simple cevapi (10) with the traditional onions, ajvar, and Kajmak, served just like they would be in the Balkans. Great food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Bring out the Pelinkovac! 🥳 From now on this is my go to place for a quick snack. We had Cevapcici which were great. The fries were spot on delicious and the dips very tasty. 🤤 They also have some drinks like Cockta that I haven’t seen anywhere else in Hamburg. Wenn es um authentische bosnische Küche geht, führt kein Weg an diesem Imbiss vorbei. Die Ćevapćići sind wirklich hervorragend zubereitet und schmecken, als wären sie direkt aus Bosnien importiert. Die Kombination mit der frischen Lepinja ist einfach unschlagbar und bringt einen Hauch von Heimat auf den Teller.

Der Imbiss hat den typischen Charme eines Schnellrestaurants – man kommt, genießt sein Essen und ist schnell wieder auf dem Sprung. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen ist, dass hier kein Alkohol serviert wird. Das bedeutet, dass man für ein kühles Getränk woanders hin muss, was für manche vielleicht unpraktisch sein könnte.

Die Ćevapćići sind definitiv die besten in der Stadt, und das spricht sich herum. Allerdings muss ich anmerken, dass die Preise in den letzten drei Jahren stark gestiegen sind. Was früher unter 10 Euro kostete, liegt jetzt bei 14 Euro – das ist schon eine heftige Erhöhung und schmerzt im Geldbeutel. Für die Qualität des Essens mag man das vielleicht noch akzeptieren, aber es ist dennoch zu teuer für einen Imbiss.
