We went to District on Thursday as a group of four, mainly because of the many positive reviews. For a Thursday evening with nice weather, the terrace was quite busy. The service was friendly and polite, but in my view the preparation of our four meals took too long. When paying, we were told that someone in the kitchen had called in sick at short notice. However, when we asked the waiter for the bill, we were forgotten and eventually had to go to the counter ourselves to pay. I ordered salmon with vegetables in a mix of fish and teriyaki sauce, served with rice on the side. The portion size was sufficient, and the salmon was well prepared and tasted fresh – though it was more of a solid standard than a real highlight. The others in our group were satisfied overall. Personally, I would not return, as the food was decent but not good enough to justify another visit.

Fazit: Wer in der Nähe ist und vietnamesisches Essen liebt, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Für mich eine gute Pho Bo, in Hamburg– absolut empfehlenswert!
