Coming from Belgium, after a long train we were all tired. It was my first time in Hambourg and was coming directly from the opera (wich by the way was stuning). Our father wanted to go to the fish market to take pictures but me being true to my stomach, I was hungry. I wanted a fresh and light (light =/= not enough) meal to break my hungryness. We landed here by luck and were welcomed with a big smile and a really nice customer service. The meal was excellent with vegetarian and meat meals on the card. Everybody in my family was pleased by the service, the kitchen and the atmosphere. A beautiful quietly place of heaven where you can eat even delightful things. Absolute pleasure, I recommend it 100% And bonus: the boss inside who helped my sister...

The place is lovingly decorated with wooden seats and tables; and you can even sit outside in the sunshine,
Their local specialities are piadinas (Italian Yummy Street Food), made from two different types of homemade bread. Besides, they offer some very tempting sandwiches for those who fancy breakfast, which we were. I ordered the salmon and avocado sandwich and was intrigued; I guess the picture speaks for itself. The bread was crisp and crunchy, the mixture of freshly caught salmon, and the guacamole combined with all the herbs and spices made an incredibly savory sandwich. Two cups of their freshly brewed black coffee rounded off the breakfast experience.
Don’t miss out on this appealing and charming bistro if you are around.
