Our experience in Don Robert was very positive! It is a real Spanish tapas restaurant in the middle of Heidelberg. You can sit outside. I definitely recommend the chouriço cooked in red wine and the tortilla (one of the best I ever ate). The only little inconvenients were the poor light at night, if you go for a drink it us no problem but to eat you need a bit more light than just one candle, and the time we had to wait to order the next beer, piece of bread and even in the end the count. There is a good variety of tapas to choose from and most of the dishes were really great. The paella would be the only dish that might be a bit subpar especially for almost 20 euro per person. There was simply too much rice and not loaded with as much ingredients like the paellas you get in Spain.
This place does not take credit cards. They take either local debit cards or cash. So perhaps not as convenient for business travellers coming...
