apéro café & tagesbar — Restaurant in Hesse

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Cafe war die reinste Katastrophe und Geld Verschwendung. Der Chef dieses Cafés hat eine unglaublich unhöfliche, herabwürdigende und arrogante Art, die den gesamten Aufenthalt ruiniert hat. Ich war mit meiner Mutter in diesem Cafe und wollte schnell was kleines Frühstücken. Vor der Bestellung fragte ich die Kellnerin, ob ich mein glutenfreies Brot dazu essen könnte, weil ich Zöliakie habe. Am Tag vorher als ich zum Kaffee trinken da war sagte sie mir schon das sie nichts glutenfreies anzubieten hätten, daher kaufte ich mir vor dem Frühstück mein GF Brot. Ich bestellte mir also für 11,80 Euro ein Frühstück und zwei Heißgetränke. Bevor noch die Getränke und das essen kamen, sollten wir schon zahlen aus welchem Grund auch immer. Daraufhin meinte der Chef laut und patzig mir zu sagen ich dürfte selbstmitgebrachtes in seinem cafe nicht konsumieren. DAS SAGT ER MIR NACHDEM ER VON UNS VERLANGTE ZU ZAHLEN. Ich erwiderte das ich ja etwas zu essen bestellt habe und auf Grund meiner Autoimmunerkrankung kein Gluten essen darf und wenn er Glutenfreies Brot oder sonst igrendeine Alternative da hätte ich es mit Kusshand nehmen würde, aber NEIN. Nichts. Er wiederholte sich mehrmals ich dürfe es nicht essen. Nicht nur das unser Kaffe nach 20 minuten Aufenthalt erst serviert wurde, hatte ich ein Frühstück vor mir liegen welches ich nicht essen konnte und auch noch bezahlt ist. Also musste meine Mutter, die keinen Hunger mehr hatte, mein Frühstück essen, welches sie Aufgrund von dem Verhalten des Chefs nicht anrührte. Wir wurden behandelt wie der aller letzte Abschaum. Die reinste Geldverschwendung!!!! Ehrlich gesagt bin ich selbst Schuld das ich diesen Laden überhaupt betretet habe, da diese der Chef bereits in der Vergangenheit meine Oma und Mutter aus dem Cafe rausgeschmissen hatte, weil ihre Dritte Coronaimpfung auf der App nicht aktualisiert war, sie allerdings einen Ausdruck mitbrachte. Jedoch war das dem Chef angeblich nicht genug. Meine Oma hatte einen Rollator und konnte nicht mehr laufen, sie wollte sich einfach ausruhen und einen Kaffe trinken. So etwas herzloses habe ich in meinen 15 Jahren Gastronomie nicht erlebt. Tut euch das nicht an wenn ihr euch selbst was Wert seit. Es gibt viel bessere Cafes in der Stadt wo ihr nicht behandelt...

Extremely disrespectful business!! We were 3 people we ordered 3 salad and a tea. After finishing the food we wanted to stay a litte bit longer and we ordered another 3 glasses of tea. They told us that they do not have hot water thus they cannot make tea. After that they said that we shouldn't drink our own water at the table and we are occupying the table without buying anything!? It was 30+ degrees outside of course I will carry a water bottle with me. And If you want me to buy something you should fulfill my order. Come on you don't have hot water? What kind of café does not have hot water for tea? I would have tipped more than the cost water anyways, their understanding of business is very illogical and disrespectful. DO NOT GO...

Apéro is a wine bar and restaurant. I've been going there for many years and I have always found the food excellent. My favourite is the vege quiche with salad at only 12.50 € makes for a very healthy and satisfying meal. The beetroot quiche (see photo) is delicious and, unlike many quiches, not at all fatty. The salad is the most creative I've ever had. It's always a fresh mixture of different salad leaves with carrots, tomatoes, bell peppers and even a caper. The dressing is light and flavorsome.
