Mamma Grill Bar — Restaurant in Jena

I tried out this new restaurant and I liked the place, but there is a lot of potential for improvement. Regarding the food. We tried one lamb grill plate and one of the "lamp stew pots". The stew was good and tasty but the lamb grill plate was far to dry in my opinion. The meat was juicy, but the rest not. There should be some kind of sauce - otherwise I don't understand why bread is served with it. I also didn't understand why they put the option fries or rice in the menu if they serve rice in the end and put three or four decorative fries on the top (especially because the waitress came back to our table to make sure we had ordered fries with the dish). The waitress seamed a bit nervous over all and therefore we also ended up with an additional drink. I will be back in a few months to see how the place...

I ordered the smash burger, but that's not what I got. I just got a regular burger with an obviously pre-frozen symmetrical patty and uninspired salad/sauce. It's exactly the kind of burger I'd expect from a kebab joint, but calling it a smash burger is just false advertising.

Absolutes no go! Wir haben hier Essen bestellt. Unter Anderem auch 2x 0,5L Fanta. Der Fahrer brachte uns aber nur 1 x 0,33L Fanta. Hätte man einfach klären können. Der Fahrer reagierte jedoch auf unsere Anmerkungen aggressiv. Nachdem wir uns so einiges anhören dürften, war für den Laden klar. Wir sind schuld. Sie haben ja gar keine 0,5L Fanta. Das wir nur bestellen können, was der Laden in seiner online Karte anbietet, scheint denen egal zu sein. Einige Diskussionen und Telefonate später haben wir dann wenigsten eine 0,3 + 0,5 Fanta bekommen und der Fahrer hatte sich später noch entschuldigt. Macht die Sache aber nicht ungeschehen. Wir wollten in Ruhe was essen und nicht solch ein TamTam wegen paar Getränken. Durch einer solchen Art und Weise die Kunden zu verärgern, ist bei der Konkurrenzsituation in Jena, sicherlich nicht die beste Idee. Ob das Essen schmeckt, können wir nicht sagen.
