Edited review after one year of visit:
The Bean has become a disappointment. After a year, I visited Jena again for work and had a coffee at the Bean yesterday.
Everything went downhill.
The guy behind the bar was a different guy with unrefined manners. Older and ruder. I donât understand why some people choose to work in the service sector when they themselves donât want to serve, or make themselves pleasant to customers.
Coffeeâ oh gosh. Just disgusting. People should drink coffee, not sour water from burnt beans. All I could smell was burnt ash. âââââââ-
