MamMam Karlsruhe — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

I ordered M5 and number 11. I was so excited, but when I tried it I found both dishes to be extremely salty. I’m not sure if this was a mistake since no one else in the reviews mentioned this. The food wasn’t completely inedible and after I diluted the soup and scooped out the meat and veggies from the curry, it was fine. I didn’t want to throw it out because I spent almost €17 on everything and I HATE wasting food. I’m giving this 4 stars for the service, overall taste of the food and the quantity for the amount paid. I might go back and place a smaller order to see if it was just that particular meal/day.

I hope the person cooking the meals can taste the food before serving because it was an insane amount of salt. Even my roommate needed to drink a large glass of water...

Wenn man durch die Tür kommt ist man ein bisschen in Vietnam. Kulinarischer Kurzurlaub untermalt von Duft und Klang. Besonders schätze ich, dass es eben nicht so schmeckt, wie beim so beliebten (Glutamat)Asia Imbiss. Auch bessere vietnamesische Restaurants schmecken erstaunlicher Weise alle gleich- dank gewisser Brühwürfel... Hier nicht - so jeden Falls mein Eindruck! Es ist vietnamesische Hausmannskost im besten Sinne. Von den Kräutern könnte man noch ein bisschen mehr wagen, ist aber sicher ein Zugeständnis an den Europäischen Gaumen. Die Pho ist super lecker und die Frühlingsrollen sind super lecker. Vor den Chillis wurde ich persönlich vom Koch gewarnt :) zurecht! Aber sehr lecker.
