Asia Gourmet — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

Absolutely terrible experience. Food was just okay, but the service was awful. Found a hair in the food — clearly not mine — and staff refused to admit it, even though it was a completely different color. Instead of apologizing, they became defensive.

To make it worse, they only accept cash, which is not mentioned anywhere except for a tiny sign inside. When we didn’t have cash, the owner started yelling and told us to go withdraw money from an ATM. Unprofessional and rude from start to finish.

Had been to this restaurant today to have veg fried rice and to my horror found 2 sharp metal packing strips in my food which i almost had swallowed. When confronted, the staff/management was casual about it and told 'such things get mixed while stir frying !!!' Very disappointed by the unprofessional and unapologetic behaviour. Excellent Vietnamese food at a very reasonable price! I'm surprised reading some of the reviews here, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this place, the food was as good as anything I've eaten in Vietnam and we hardly paid more than if we had gone to a fastfood place.
