Baristaz Coffee Heroes — Restaurant in Koblenz

Liebes Baristaz Team,

ein großes Lob an euch alle. Ich und meine Frau sind immer wieder gerne in eurem Cafe in der Schloßstraße in Koblenz. Es ist eine wunderbare Atmosphäre, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Heute ist mir aufgefallen, wie international das Publikum ist. Eine Mitarbeiterin sprach Englisch und Italienisch mit einem Gast.

Der Cafe ist, wie immer, großartig, intensiv und gut im Geschmack. Man bekommt Cafe und Weiteres in allen Geschmacksvariationen, für jede Verträglichkeit gibt es die passende Milch, alles ist gut gekennzeichnet und auf einem Blick ersichtlich.

Es gibt eine große Kuchenauswahl und auch kleines Gebäck, wenn man zum Cafe nur eine Kleinigkeit möchte. Ein dickes Lob an die Konditorin/nen. Man sieht und schmeckt, dass alles mit Liebe hergestellt ist. Die Auswahl ist besonders und die Sorten variieren - man lässt sich immer wieder was neues einfallen - wie schön, man merkt, dass Kundenzufriedenheit- und bedürfnisse hier einen großen Stellenwert haben.

Und ja, ab jetzt wird ein Frühstück angeboten. Es gibt dort gebratenes Gemüse, Dips, Spiegelei, Desserts usw. Das macht das Cafe jetzt perfekt. Ich hatte ein Brot (was schon sehr gut geschmeckt hat) mit Käse und darauf Spiegelei und Avocadocreme. Es hat sehr frisch und lecker geschmeckt. Und was mich wirklich gefreut hat, war die Liebe zum Detail. Die beigefügten Tomaten waren gewürzt, frischer Schnittlauch über das Spiegelei gestreut.

Ich schreibe diese gute Rezension, weil ich mich immer freue, wenn ich gute Qualität bekomme und merke, dass man alles dransetzt, um den Kunden zufriedenzustellen, was heute leider gar nicht mehr so oft vorkommt.

This used to be my favorite cafe 2 years ago. I came back to Koblenz and of course, i wanted to experience this amazing cafe once more, but i was absolutely disappointed. I ordered a capuccino and you can feel the milk was overdone, espresso shot was not well done (either failed in grinding or dripping) and could not drink more than 3 sips. Felt like coffee you get from corporate automatic coffee machines.

Seems the cafe has turned into more of a commercial chain approach, sacrificing quality on the way.

The food was ok and the waiter...

I didn’t like the coffee here (I ordered a flat white for €4.20).

It was served in a large 350 ml cup with overly hot coffee. The milk was over-frothed, and there was a burnt taste. I talked with the stuff, but was told that „that is the way it is done here“. I couldn’t argue with that and left

I ended up throwing it away because it was undrinkable.

I’ve been drinking flat whites for 10 years, so I was disappointed..
