Update 16.11.22: had a fabulous Botti Kebab this evening, wonderfully soft lamb with a very tasty sauce!

A great place to sit and enjoy a decent Indian meal in downtown Landsberg am Lech, especially the terrace at the back of the restaurant, where you can sit outside and enjoy the burbling water channel from the river Lech right next to you! The service is attentive, the mixed tandoori grill plate and onion bhaji I ordered was tasty. I found it a but strange that the sizzling hot meat sat on a bed of salad, would rather have this in the side. Also the outside tables are rather small, so we were juggling plates until we asked to have two tables put together. The staff were nonplussed and helped us arrange this. Despite of so many bad reviews I still decided to visit this restaurant but I was wrong. The food is total disappointment. Paneer pakora was so hard that you can break someone’s head with it. I told the lady that it is not nice and she was like ‘Okay’. No apology no comments. I asked if I can cancel my rest of the order as I was not sure the main course will be better. She said no the order can’t be canceled. Then comes the Palak paneer and Masala paratha. Palak paneer was tasteless and bland. Masala paratha is nothing but just a masala naan. Wir sind mittlerweile seit einigen Jahren Stammgäste und wurden noch nie enttäuscht, egal ob in Punkto Wartezeit auf das Essen oder die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung! Wir schätzen sowohl das tolle Essen, als auch die sehr sympathischen Wirtsleute sehr! Das Essen wird immer frisch zubereitet! Wer die indische Küche kennt und liebt, weiß dies natürlich und weiß deshalb auch, das es eine gewisse Zeit dauern kann bis das Essen auf dem Tisch steht! ( Hierzu kann ich auch unbedingt einen Kochkurs empfehlen, der im Haus statt findet. Da lernt man, wie alles in der Küche funktioniert, wie Speisen vorbereitet und zubereitet werden und auch, das gutes Essen Zeit benötigt!!! ) Die Wartezeit wird aber immer durch Vorspeisen etc verkürzt 😉 Die Qualität der Speisen ist ausgezeichnet! Auch hat man immer genug, oft auch zuviel, auf seinem Teller. Soll heißen: Man wird immer satt! Die freundliche und herzliche Art der Wirtsleute und der Bedienung war bisher noch nie zu beanstanden. Wir fühlen uns als Gäste sehr wohl in diesem sehr schönen Restaurant. Im Sommer kann ich nur die tolle Außenterrasse über dem Lech empfehlen. Es ist wunderschön da zu sitzen und zu essen!
