Burgermeister Feilitzschstraße — Restaurant in Munich

Have been hearing about this one from my friends in Berlin and it is finally here in Munich! This is definitely the place to get burgers in Münchner Freiheit! It’s not far from the station and you can immediately see it from a far. We went there for dinner on a weekday and the place was crowded. I ordered a Fleischermeister and my friend ordered a Meisterburger, both with a side of cheesy fries. The burgers are NOT smash burgers but they were amazing! I would prefer more grilled onion on the Fleischermeister but it was actually possible to make it as an add-on when ordering. I like their idea of the cheese being in a packaging so it doesn’t make the fries soggy but mine was almost solid cheese so it was too thick to easily flow out of the packaging, so they might want to regulate the temperature better on this one. Mayo and Ketchup were free which is great! Price to portion ratio was really amazing. Their burgers were all below 10€ which is great for this taste and portion in Munich. The atmosphere was good enough but would be perfect if they had more tables. Service was as your usual fast food restaurant, nothing special. Overall, it was a great experience eating here! Would...

The price paid for what you get is expensive! The burguers are not that special.....nor big. 7€ for a very small cheese burguer with almost no meat inside (similar to McDonalds cheese burguer size but for 7€ instead of 2€).....makes you think (really!) Fair price would be 4,5€ to 5€ máx.

The Fries yes, great amount of fries but, as the burguer: not that special fries either (not so flavourous). The price for the fries (4,10€) is OK but fair price would be like 3€ for the same thing.

The Cola served in glass bottle it´s a nice to have (even tho it´s a 33cl bottle for 3.5€). Price does not shock me.

Meaning: instead of 14,60€, the fair would be a máx of 11€ for what I got. Final Rate: 2,5 Stars out of 5.

Burgermeister Feilitzschstraße 🍔🔥 Honestly so good! We got the cheeseburger, chili cheese burger, and cheesy fries 💯 Plus, free ketchup and mayo too, always a win.

If I had to nitpick, I’d say it could’ve used a tiny bit more salt, but that’s just my personal preference — definitely not a dealbreaker. The service was lovely, staff were super friendly, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable 🥹👏
