I don't understand the negative reviews. The food is too salty? Send it back instead of eating it "because you're hungry".
The garden is neglected? Well, there are trees and even in summer leaves have a tendency to fall from the trees and then the wind does the rest. Or do you expect someone to stand there, doing nothing, just waiting to remove the freshly fallen leaves?
And about the waiting times: if the restaurant was half empty you could certainly have plenty of reasons to complain, but if you see that the place is packed and everyone is busy trying their best to accommodate, well... be grateful that you find a table in the first place. And remember that while you're waiting for your order, someone is cooking JUST FOR YOU. In a way it's like you're having your own personal chef... think about that! 😉
Now, about my personal experience: I've been there three times during the last couple of months for lunch and so far my experience has been certainly positive: waiting times have been more than reasonable and the food from good to great. In other words, don't be misled by the negative reviews and give it a try. I doubt you'll be disappointed. 😋
Last but not least, greetings to Valeria, Angelo and Dionigi. And that's just because I don't know the names of all personnel yet......
Read moreI liked the atmosphere and I liked the service. I found it difficult to choose what to eat on the menu without spending too much. I really just wanted a nice pasta and a glass of wine.
The specials menu looked great, but it was different than the one on the street, so when I sat down, I got a different menu. It was really a creative specials menu, but nothing jumped out at me. I did find it odd that there was a risotto with shrimp and also a burrata cream. I thought seafood and dairy was a no-no in Italian cooking?
No worries, I found something nice and ordered that. I ordered the Vongole. I enjoyed this quite a bit. I really liked the pistachio pesto as this was something I don’t see very often. I found it a tad too salty for my tastes. The pasta was cooked perfectly.
They brought out a little something from the chef before and didn’t tell me exactly what it was. I had to ask. I don’t eat certain things, so I found this a bit annoying. Please explain what something is before you give it out.
The location is really nice. It’s a nice Italian place in the area, but choose carefully because the prices seemed to me a bit high on some items. House...
Read moreA very well kept, cosy and of exceptional food quality and service Italian restaurant, in one of the most picturesque locations of Munich, Nymphenburg!).
One of the best dine and wine places in Munich for a couple or a larger group to have their lunch or dinner, and enjoy traditional Italian flavors that have been harmonized with current trends.
Price-wise, on a first glimpse it might look a bit expensive, but the whole atmosphere, the quality of the food and the very friendly and helpful staff, compensate you completely! Not to mention that you are directly offered several slices of fresh bread and oil as a dip as soon as you are sitted down; something which is rare even for Italian restaurants in Germany!
Been here for more than 5-6 times in a year and the consistency in quality and service is amazing! All Covid measures are also always taken care of. Keep up the good work!
Must haves are of course all Pasta dishes and the T-Bone steak, while all desserts are very carefully...
