On the 29th of June, 2017, My wife and I along with a friend were trying to hide from a sudden rain shower by going inside this restaurant, it was very busy and the food smelled amazing, so we decided to have food there, only to be told by a waiter that there's really no chance of us getting served if we had no prior reservation. However, I have rarely seen such an organized, beautiful place with such friendly staff despite being as busy as it was that day - with both diners who had reservations and passersby who were trying to get shelter from the rain outside like ourselves. One of the waiters - the same guy who told us we can't be served and whom I can't remember his name - was very attentive, tried to help us out in every way possible, he served our party sparkling wine on the house, we also got served very tasty ravioli samplers - on the house too - which the chef was very keen to know what we thought of them despite being the random tourists who would probably never come back again, and then the same waiter recommended other places for that day, offered to make a reservation for tomorrow, called a cap for us and kept in touch with it to make sure it came quickly for us, and walked us to the car. The smell, the interior, and the nice gestures shown by the staff there are more than enough for me to recommend this place to eat, even though I didn't go through the actual...
Read moreOne of the most authentic Italian dining experiences we've had outside of Italy. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed — special thanks to Dragan, whose attentive and friendly service made our dinner even more enjoyable.
The focaccia was easily the best we've ever had — crisp on the outside, soft and flavourful within.
The pizza came with the thinnest, most delicate crust, and the handmade pasta was perfectly al dente, especially the spaghetti scampi — fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The Tagliolini Tartufo, in particular, stood out as one of the best we've tasted anywhere. Tiramisu is just as good as the best served in Italy.
While the menu wasn’t available in English, it posed no issue — a quick scan with Google Translate and we were set. In many ways, that added to the authenticity of the experience.
Beyond the food, what truly sets this restaurant apart is the warmth and sincerity of the service. It sets a gold standard not just for Italian cuisine, but for hospitality as a whole.
To top it off, pricing was more than reasonable given the quality and experience.
Highly recommended for those seeking genuine Italian flavours, cosy ambience, and...
Read moreI visited this Italian restaurant its call Mozzamo by yesterday in Munich and was very disappointed with the service provided. While the atmosphere and food -Pizza and pasta were decent, the treatment towards Indian customers was noticeably unwelcoming. From the beginning, the staff seemed indifferent and inattentive, requests were either ignored or handled with reluctance. What made the experience worse was noticing that other non-Indian guests received much friendlier and prompt attention, while we were left waiting. Even they have served pizza without organo and sauce, olive nd unsliced. They have picked our water glasses directly from table, unbelievable experience seen in this restaurant.
Dining out should be about hospitality and respect for all customers, regardless of background. Unfortunately, this restaurant failed to provide that basic standard. It left us feeling uncomfortable and undervalued.
Munich has many wonderful places to eat where service is warm and respectful — sadly, this was not one of them. I would not recommend this restaurant to others looking for a welcoming...
