Cozy off the beaten track place. The food looked delicious and portions were large! I enjoyed the pancake soup and saftige rinderlinde. They both were savory & delicious. The Oktoberfest beer was great and complimented the environment. Everyone I saw eating was complementary to the staff and happy. And then I had the “Kaiserschmarnn” for dessert. That was the crown jewel on this delicious meal and is a must when you visit. It’s impossible to put into words how delicious this dessert was without being too sweet. I will definitely return and eat here again. It’s worth putting yourself out for this one! Cell phone signal wasn’t great but if you’re stuck on your phone, you’re missing out on the experience. Great price also for what I enjoyed : 3 Oktoberfest beer, pancake soup, Rinderlinde, & Kaiserschmarnn less...

PHENOMENAL! After trying to get a table for two on an unusually busy night, we set reservations for the next night. Visiting Germany for our honeymoon, this was the best way to cap it off with the penultimate German meal! The service is unmatched in friendliness, and the food is extremely tasty. This seriously might be my favorite meal across Italy, France, and Germany.

To top it off, upon paying the check out waiter inquired about why we were in Munich. We told him it was a belated honeymoon and he wouldn't let us leave without giving us a kind gift of a Schinken-Peter bottle of champagne and chocolates. If you're in Munich, take the train, take a taxi, do what you need to do to get here... But make reservations first! Mit alles Leibe...

Very nice restaurant with superb quality food and awesome personnel. Fresh meat and a traditional style of serving is their strenght. Feels very cozy to have a meal there and enjoy your evening. We were positively surprised by how fast the freshly prepared meal was served to us. It is not very expensive, but not the cheapest restaurant either and the latter is for a good reason. If you happen to be in Munich and want to have a taste of the Bavarian cuisine, outside of the touristic epicenter, this place is highly recommended. Don't forget to ask for the 'Odl' liquor, you won't regret it! One of the owners speaks English very well and can make you feel very welcome! I will definitely pay them a visit the next time I...

Cozy off the beaten track place. The emphasis here is very much on the restaurant side of things. I didn’t eat here but the food looked delicious and portions were large! Everyone I saw eating were complementary to the staff on the standard of the food. I will definitely return and eat here next time. Beers are Spaten and Franziskaner Weißbier. It’s worth putting yourself out for this one! One slight drawback is that I found it virtually impossible to get a phone signal of any quality here.
