NEVER BE THE DESTINATION FOR NON-GERMAN NATIVE SPEAKERS (especially for Asians)

To the owner of the restaurant, I would suggest putting “Please do NOT even think to enter into this place Asians” in English.

To old lady (I know you can remember me when I tried to reach out to your manager you pretended to be very nice and sweet to your customers), why you yelled me I just wanted to know if the dish was pork or not. Why did you lie to me and repeatedly say “cash only” even though I finally paid by my credit card? (before asking you I already checked with your colleague that I can pay the bill by cash or credit card, but unfortunately, I need you to clear the bill) Why are you also so upset when I ask how to use the parking machine? I was surprised that you perfectly understood my English after a meal, but you did not get anything when I looked at the Dutch menu. As an Asian guy who visited Munich for the second time and visited other European countries several times, I would recommend - please just go to HB or other places. If you plan to come to this place, you should learn Dutch and master the Dutch menu first. OR you may experience something unreasonably disgusting even though you can speak English or how much you gently ask...

We had reservations via a personal guided tour and ended up leaving without eating based on how rude our server was to the guide. She tried to order food for us to split and the server cut her off before she could order everything else. She insisted we each had to have two sausages (versus one each). She used an expletive towards our guide in the process. We had decided to just do the full order of sausages (in addition to beers and pretzels) but she never came back to our table. Have never seen such rudeness in any establishment in any country. I felt bad for our guide as she took it as a personal failure on her part when in reality she just ran into an incredibly rude and unprofessional waitress. I am sure this was not her first blow up. I am sure management will easily know who this is and...

This place deserves Zero stars. Trust me, avoid this tourist trap and go somewhere else. This was flat out the rudest service I've experienced in a long time. Just walking in, without any prior interaction, the server - a middle age man with a mustache - threw the menus on the table, and aggressively, angrily pushed us to order before we even looked at them. Spoke to him politely and, again with no reason, his response was extremely rude. Just a nasty and insulting attitude. I took a deep breath, asked him what his problem was, and we just walked out....

If you want a true Munich experience, go here. For a Weißwurst breakfast. Don't be afraid to have a beer (preferably a Weiße) before noon – Weißwurst has to be eaten before noon due to local tradition and is usually washed down with a brew. This place supposedly serves the best Weißwurst in town, and I was not disappointed. I arrived on a weekday fairly early (9:30 to 10), there was plenty of room. Service is friendly, patrons are a mix of visitors and workers from the surrounding wholesale market.

Enjoyed the basket of fresh pretzel bread that was soft on the inside with a crunchy crust. They have a set menu of their famous sausages served with generous sides or order them a la carte to share. Their kalbsleber mit champignon (veal liver with mushroom) served with round crispy hash browns instead of roasted potatoes was delicious. We ended the meal with a tasty dessert of Kaiserschmarrn, which means 'Emperor's Nonsense/Mess' 😂🤣 which was accompanied by a hot plum sauce.
