Zur Gruam — Restaurant in Munich

Rude and arrogant customer service. The bartender refused to give my friend water or a glass to fetch water from the bathroom. We had already been there the whole night and spent plenty of money on drinks (it was 4 AM). She did not have the money left to buy the water. Fortunately, another customer gave their water to her. The bartender didn't like my friend's attitude and told the bouncer to kick her out. The place is super packed and warm. One would think that helping customers stay hydrated would be in everyone's best interest, but these guys would rather throw you out. A pity, the other customers there were super friendly, but with this dodgy customer service, I am not...

The bouncer on the 12.11.2022 was really uneducated and just blocked me with no reason while other people came in, I am going very often to this place and I love it and the owner is nice..., the bouncer told me you can not go in because I am a guy, and 2 min later 3 guys went in...and when I asked what was the real reason, my dress, my face, origins?! he started insulting me, I just wanted to join my friends already inside and enjoy good music as usual, not getting insulted and even threatenef... Ps: I am 38, married and a university teacher, not the kind of person making troubles...hope that the owner will avoid hiring...

Holy f**k, what a place. I love the ambience, strong underground tones with dim lights in the night. The staff is more than kind, they are sociable and caring (they went out of their way to pass me my beers over the super crowded counter). The music here is something else, a nice mix of techno house with a mild techno (at least that was the music selection the night I was there). Some people may criticize the club's size, but that is what added to the place's charm in my opinion, making it even more enjoyable than a standard club. I can't express how much I love this place, can't wait to go back to Munich to...
