This is really sad. Even though the food was acceptable, we had by far the worst service ever. The waiter was incredibly unprofessional and impolite. And on top of everything, he was forcing us to pay in cash or leave 10 or 20 euros as Tip. First, he convinced us to have no matter what from the menu. He asked about some recommendations and our preferences and he just pointed to the first thing he saw. Second, in the Middle of the food, he started to pick up the pillows from our chair, even not asking for permission. Third, when the food arrived, he served really impolite. Finally, he tried to force us to pay and leave tip for a terrible service by staring us directly over his glasses quietly for many seconds. That was really cringe and challenging.
Cherry on top, the lassi drinks are really small. It's really sad to see this, because overall the restaurant has an amazing potential and the food is good. I hope the manager takes this for potential corrections, since it was clear that the food was really...
Read moreWe tried the monthly specials for December. The Chicken Afgani momos were simply amazing and i would definitely recommend this to be part of menu. But, mutton biryani with bones was just simply put to dry with out any taste of spices. More over the mutton was dry and tasted like it was days old and just reheated with the rice. Now coming to the service offered by the waiters. We somehow felt that the service was biased. Somehow other people which were not indian(subcontinental) were given more attention to make there experience better. They were served personally by the waiters in there plates and on the contrary the waiter just left the dish on our table and left. I think everyone who comes in to the restaurant should be treated and served equally….. 2 stars is just for the momos and the ambiance created...
Read moreAuthentic food, great ambience, amazing hospitality, 5 min walk from U-bahn station. On account of our team dinner, we were served special food items like Badam milk - fresh and made of real almonds unlike using some extracts; Mirchi bajji - filled with yummy tamarind pulp; Veg and Chicken Manchuri - Spicy, tangy and tasty; Idly with coconut chutney, ginger chutney and sambar (As a native Bangalorean, trust me when I say this, Idly and the chutneys were brilliant). Another dish which made my tummy happy was Bhagara Baingan. More than happy to recommend this restaurant. The overwhelming hospitality was so satisfying especially considering how basic manners have been lately missing in Indian restaurants. Thank you Hindura for a memorable experience ! I will...
