Came yesterday for a dinner here with my mother. We stayed in a close-by hotel, so we chose this restaurant because its proximity and decided we would probably find something that we'd like to eat. Only later I realized how popular and highly-rated this restaurant is. And rightly so!
We got the table immediately without reservation and ordered phos (one chicken, one beef), made according to the family recipe. Fantastic taste, so light, rich, and refreshing. Eating this pho after driving the whole day from the Netherlands on our way to Croatia, I felt I could drive another 8 hours. (Which I didn't.)
I see some reviewers are claiming this is the best pho in Munich. I wouldn't be surprised it is!
We also had mochi with mango and drank plum wine, which was a great end to a great evening.
We were served by several people and they all deserve a praise for a great service. Really nice atmosphere in the restaurant overall.
But the special mention goes to a really nice young man who served us most of the time and answered all my questions about the food patiently. We even managed to chat a little despite him being very busy.
I didn't enjoy eating somewhere so much for quite some time! Highly...
Read moreIm super sceptical and hard to please when it comes to Sushi, especially stricter for restaurants that are not run by real Japanese ppl. So i did so much research before going there and overall: super super satisfied with the sushi quality for its price!
I ordered so many different menus to try out everything. First, i hated the fact that they were putting cream cheese on some of the rolls but turns out, it wasnt that much amount, nor that bad.
The nigiri qualities were REALLY good. Wish they had more types of tuna though, such as tuna belly. When they CAN do sushi, i think they could start having more type of fish/fish parts. So much potential! The other rolls were also really good!
I only did take-out so i cant really say so much about the service but at least, they were welcoming and nice when i went there to pick it up. Id def def definitely...
Read moreNice and cozy restaurant! It's probably wise to make a reservation since it's really small, but luckily when we went they could squeeze us in. The staff is very kind (they accidentally took the order wrong but that happens and was fixed quickly) and the atmosphere is really cool and fitting to a Japanese restaurant. We didn't order sushi, but we had vegan gyoza (veeeery tasty), coco's chicken soup (also incredibly good) and spring rolls (not my favorite but quite good). As main dishes we had soba, miso ramen with beef and curry with tofu which were all very tasty. After eating at many Japanese restaurants I would say some little things could be made better, but overall it is really good :) I'm definitely coming back to...
