TLDR: spend your money somewhere else

Went here a few days ago for my birthday as we live very close and it seemed to have decent reviews.

All four of us went with the 4 course surprise menu with matching wines

They ask you if you'd like the fish or the meat option and the rest is up to them. I usually love that concept and have never really been disappointed until now.

My husband who doesn't particularly like fish naturally went for the meat option.

Imagine our "surprise" when three of the four courses contained fish as the main ingredient!?

It's not what you'd hope for when you go for the meat option and it would have been nice of that had been made clear on advance.

Personally I don't mind fish but I wouldn't expect it in every single course.

Also I'm not sure what fish was inside the ravioli type dumplings but it was very dry.

The pairings were so so... What the wines lacked in finesse and taste the staff made up in quantity. Again not really what we were there for...

Talking about the service, it was indifferent at best verging on the disinterested.

All in all considering the amount of money we paid per person I was disappointed. Would...

My wife and I had the 4-course menu, including selected wines. Service is professional and transactional, nothing that stood out. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. I must admit that my expectations were high (we had been to a few other nice Italian restaurants in Munich plus I read the outstanding feedbacks of others), but not met. The ambient is nice and cosy. In sum, in terms of value for money there are in our point of view better...

Wir waren anlässlich unserer Hochzeit in diesem Restaurant und bestellten das angepriesene 4-Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Das Essen war durchweg sehr lecker und mit 98 Euro zwar hochpreisig aber durchaus das Geld wert. Für den Service muss ich jedoch 2 Sterne abziehen. Zum Hauptgang fragte meine Frau ob Sie noch einen Schluck Wein bekommen könnte (ohne vorher je nachbestellt zu haben), wobei der Kellner meinte es kommt gleich das Dessert, aber im Anschluss bringt er noch einmal etwas. Auf der Rechnung zum Schluss wurde der ‚Schluck‘ dann mit 19 Euro für zwei Personen berechnet, wobei es sich um einen Rotwein für 13 Euro die Flasche handelte. Wasser wird auch mit 9,50 die Flasche abgerechnet. Auf Anmerkung wurde uns vom Chef gesagt es wäre doch klar dass man extra zahlt sobald das Dessert vorbei ist (wir haben aber ja schon zum Hauptgang bestellt, dieses Verhalten des Kellners riecht dann nach System, er hätte uns ja auch sagen können dass es nicht inkludiert ist). Da ich dann nicht bereit war ein hohes Trinkgeld zu geben, wurden wir im Anschluss komplett ignoriert. Einen Limoncello, wie sämtliche Tische um uns herum bekamen wir auch nicht mehr.

• Rechnung war 250 Euro… Naja, schade drum; als Nachbarn kommen wir bestimmt trotzdem...
