Kyoto Running Sushi — Restaurant in Munich

One orbit takes about 3.5 minutes. I came in at about 19:00 and left just before 20:00.

I was sat in the "hard mode" table at the very end of the conveyor belt where it makes a 180° turn. As such I had about half the time to grab that a typical table would have. 2 seconds with no ability to look ahead at what's coming. On the plus side, I never had to open or close my door because there wasn't a door!

When it comes to nigiri sushi, I know what I like and they had what I liked. Lots of salmon, lots of maguro. Sometimes it's hard to see exactly what you're getting because of the plastic covers on the bottom belt. Everything I grabbed was enjoyable for me.

One problem I had was if I grabbed the top plate, twice the bottom plastic top came off with it, and then I felt compelled to grab the bottom plate too. Again, nothing I ended up with was bad at all and I enjoyed every plate I had. It was a bit of a chore to get another beer, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. Also that doesn't seem to be a problem later in the evening when selection thins out because nothing is stacked.

I can't speak to what's available on the top "hot" shelf, as I only looked up there to get ginger and wasabi, which only came around once in a while.

Towards the end of my time, I could see the selection thinning out a bit, so other reviews of there being inadequate selection later in the night may have merit. That wasn't my experience but I can see where it could happen.

Stick to the basics and you'll have a 5-star...

the worst running sushi experience i have ever had. Very littlechoices of sushi..we had barely 4 types of sushi only..all other are sweet treats and fried stuffs. Not expecting much but this was really bad. In terms of quality..i would also not recommend anybody to come here for dinner. Worst nighmare. We came here quite early around 9pm and we had barely any sushi to eat. The environment was cozy but one waiter really got on our nerves as he rushed us to finish eating while we were hardly try to enjoy our dinner. super RUDE. and there was a FLY in the food and i had stomachache after eating there.

As for the price..it was too high for such quality and experience that we had.

I would say..we will never come to this place ever again.

If you are a looking for eating a ton of sushi at a good price, this is the place to go. The place is pretty crowded on the weekends so a reservation is advisable. They have a good number of vegetarian options andy friend I formed me that the non vegetarian sushi are quiet delicious.

Be warned about the sake that is placed along with the other foods as they charge €3.5 for a small bottle of it and it is charged separately from the all-you-can-eat menu.

Apart from that the place is very cozy and we had a friendly competition on who would eat the most number of sushis.

The spring rolls are normal but the dp longs were good. My friend loved the vanilla and chocolate custard as he is a bit of a sweet tooth.
