Located Right Next to a 300 Person Unvetted Mass Migrant Centre.
The hotel is a new build and quite stylish overall. Everything is working and in good condition. The request for a child bed extra in the room was easily accommodated by a fold out bed by the window. The room unfortunately had no fridge or kettle and had no table or desk either. Cleanliness was great with the room being spotless.
The WiFi was useless. Despite booking through HRS where you are supposed to get free WiFi in your room and despite enquiring at the hotel's reception I was merely directed to use the hotel's "free" WiFi option which traffic shaped the connection to the point where it was just about useful in the early mornings only. Do not come here believing that there is free WiFi in your room, there is practically none. on two evenings a school group where shouting in the hall and knocking on doors including mine at different times.
The hotel is located right next to the underground with makes it great for location in that sense. However, the most concerning aspect for staying at this hotel is that there is a mass migration centre (Flüchtlingsunterkünfte at Tübinger Straße 1–3) directly adjacent this hotel! The centre has round the clock security (see my photo) but only at the center's entrance. There are groups of unvetted migrants coming and going right in front of this hotel. I witnessed people from the centre thieving from the petrol station on a number of evenings. Local woman were harassed by the station that's to the side of this hotel. Migrants were repeatedly entering the hotel lobby and using the guest computers by the lift.
If you are a lone female or feel vulnerable and plan on coming and going from this hotel in the evening, avoid...
Read moreThe hotel is pretty new and fresh, rooms are clean and modern, I like it a lot. But during my visit I faced with serious issue. On the second day of my visit, in the evening when I got back and wanted to take a shower I found there is no hot water. I went to the reception to ask what happened but the guy on the reception was so dummy. He wasn't able to tell me anything what happened and why, how and when it will be fixed and if it was reported already. He suggested to change the room because maybe in the other room there are no issues with hot water. Can't imagine who can say that. Few hours later hot water came back. On the next day I found the same issue again, but unfortunately this time it wasn't fixed in the morning. So, I had to check out with no hot water and shower and traveling not refreshed.
I want especially highlight the work of the reception. The guy work was completely useless and unfriendly saying he can't see in his computer if there is a hot water in other rooms... On the other hand the lady who was on the reception in the morning when I left was friendly and tried to...
Read moreTOTAL DISASTER, we travelled and worked so hard , we took the room for two nights, even though we asked them many times for a quiet room , they gave us the room from the gas station site where apparently Mafia is gathering at nights to take cocaine screaming so laud that you can't sleep even though theoretically there are sound proofing windows. They said they can't do anything about it. Next, the guy at the reception desk(who wasn't nice)gave us another room from the very side of the hotel, then he gave us yet another room, the room just over the bus stop where drunken people were screaming non stop .
So the whole process of moving luggage around lasted 2h and was hopeless.we ended up at 3 o'clock in the morning extremely tired
Apparently and additionally when we were logging in primary it lasted one hour bc they gave us as room when someone was already logged in.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A REST SEAMLESSLY I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE A DIFFERENT HOTEL.
The only thing nice is the breakfast and kind stuff working in the restaurant.
Overall - a very awful very stressful...
