L'Osteria München Bauhausplatz — Restaurant in Munich

Although the food was tasty, the service was pretty bad to say the least. Upon requesting that our drinks be served with the food as opposed to before, we were presented with a lecture about how this doesn't make sense, that we're currently in a restaurant (we wouldn't have noticed that we were in a restaurant if the waiter wasn't so kind to point that out), and how he wasn't sure what it's like in other countries but over here drinks are served as soon as they're ready. It's fine if you want me to order the drinks later, but the tone/hints is what's not acceptable. Other than that, when some of our food was late, we had to physically get up and go to the waiters to get their attention and ask about the status, because no amount of waiving would catch their attention for 15 minutes because they didn't bother looking at our side of the restaurant to see if anyone here...

They could figure out how to make the pizza papers not blow away for outdoor tables and maybe put numbers at the table so that every time they bring out the food they don’t have to interrupt and ask who ordered it, strongly recommend slicing every pizza before bringing it out especially as the cold makes the pizza cold while you’re waiting for it to get sliced. And all honesty it’s just a bit weird to not slice the pizza before you bring it out—Things that make you go hmmm 🤔! 😂 have you ever tried ripping pizza or cutting every slice by yourself? I might as well get the pizza for free if I have to slice it for myself! The four cheese pizza was OK, they could also put a digital bell for when you need service, especially when you’re sitting outside, that might be more of an Asia thing. Lastly, they could do umbrellas, or something to...

We ordered for pick up and they forgot our dessert. Instead we had a salad in our bag. After calling they were not apologizing and didn’t care to give us a compensation.

After talking in the phone for a bit and making clear that’s not what we paid for we were “allowed” to pick up our desserts and offered a discount coupon.

It’s a 10 min car ride for us to pick it up (one way) and after saying we just want the money for the dessert back they said that’s all you get. Wow that’s what you call bad customer service. We were basically forced to go there again.

So we picked up the dessert and got the discount coupon. Now the best part: the coupon was only valid till 31st of December 2020 and it’s the 15th of January 2021. Well thanks for nothing!
