Leib und Seele — Restaurant in Munich

cold, rainy night, this was my dinner destination on second night in Munich. food and service fine, only 3 customers, not fine was patron who arrived with dog while i was just beginning to eat, took a table just over from me and his dog began shaking itself off close to me once and then again just one table over with it’s owner avoiding eye contact with me as i glanced at him. staff not making even a courtesy inquiry if i was comfortable now - even though i noticed the waiter looking in my direction taking this all in. i quickly finished eating as the dog was allowed to wander around pretty much within...

Warm and cozy restaurant with a nice mix of patrons from youngsters celebrating Oktoberfest to families with toddlers.

Staff very polite and helpful in choosing food though a tad slow due to the crowd.

Beef soup was interesting and light, the sausages with sauerkraut were flavorful. The bread was warm and fresh.

It's worth the price if you're hungry on a Sunday and nothing else is open but I wouldn't go especially out of my way to eat here.

Maybe we got a little unlucky, but we had a pretty bad experience here.

We waited for over an hour for our food, before we were told that one of the dishes was not available and that we should choose something different while the rest of the tables around us got their food.

Admittedly, the restaurant was fairly crowded, but still. (It was also super loud because there were two separate children competing, who could scream louder)

The food was ok and the waiter was very apologetic but the experience wasn't...
