One of the interesting churchs to see in Munich is St. Anna im Lehel (Parish Church of St. Anna), a late 19th-century church just opposite the Abbey Church of St. Anna on St.-Anna-Straße.
The church features a Romanesque exterior with an attractive facade and tower that is worth spending a few minutes to enjoy. There is a nice fountain outside the church as well. The interior of the church features a nice high altar, apse mosaic and two side chapels which branch from the church nave.
We enjoyed our brief visit to St. Anna im Lehel, finding this to be photogenic and an overall interesting church to visit. A bit isolated from the main sightseeing area, there are a few interesting things to see in the area including the abbey church just across the street.
