Place: the place looks fine, there were many people, but many tables for 4 were occupied by 1-2 people, so some people had to wait for a free spot.

Service: we had to ask for a menu (a couple near us were waiting for 20 mins, until we just took menus from passing waitress). The service in total was just awful. Waiters don’t know what food they have and how it even looks (our order didn’t match to food description in the menu). We waited for 2 soups, they brought first one after 30 mins, for the second one we waited for 90 mins!!! Waiters tried to give us chicken as apology, but it was burned and cold.

Food: first soup was not so good, but eatable, plus it didn’t match to its description (all sea food was one small shrimp, instead there were some other vegetables), so we are still not sure if it was our order, waitress wasn’t sure either about it … Second soup was just the worst soup I have ever had, we came to the conclusion, that they just forgot about it, and tried to cook it as fast as possible, eggs were already cold, everything else was burned and not eatable at all. Same was with “apology” chicken, feels like someone tried to burn frozen chicken. Last our order wasn’t ready after almost 2 hours after we ordered it, so we just cancelled it.

In total - horrible food, the worst service, and it’s overpriced. Any of these meals should cost 8-10 euros, instead of 18-20. This place deserve maximum 2 starts in total, there’s literally nothing...

Overall, a lovely japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. We were delighted to see this type of place in this area. The staff is very kind and the atmosphere is pleasant. I’ve deducted 1 star because: The tables are really close to one another, so there is no intimacy of conversation, no place to hang your coat and bag. Although the staff is very kind, they do take a while to take your order. A bigger issue we had is that we ordered the Tan tan ramen and 4 ingredients were missing: mincemeat, soybeans, onions, broccoli. We didn’t make it a big deal, but we asked about it at the end of our meal and didn’t receive an apology, rather a “this is our traditional japanese meal”.

Anyway, the food was very very delicious. Even with the missing ingredients, the portions were very big and the sauce was very tasty.

Aside from the small issues, we recommend the Tan tan ramen and special miso ramen, as well as the balls with octopus meat (we call them...

It‘s been almost three years we eat regularly here. We tried once in Augsburg and already fell in love with the authentic Ramen. It is so good that the shop moved to Munich where we live. Lots of people shared about their best Munich Ramen already so I am not going to repeat. We tried the Sukiyaki for the first time last Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. It was really good. The soup with a thick seaweed for cooking match perfectly with the fine slices of Entrecôte. The egg’s dipping gave the cooked food a silky touch. The plate of vegetables, Konjac and Tofu was displayed so nice that your appetite will just shot up. The set came with a homemade Kimchi as appetizer. Each person has a miso soup and a rice. Our tummies were so full and satisfied afterwards. The price is reasonable. One day ahead reservations is needed.
