Great Thai restaurant a little bit outside of Munich‘s city center which is good if you want to have good food in a calm atmosphere. I had the Giaw Thod (fried Wan Tan with chicken) as a starter and the Kratiam Prik Thai (Beef grilled with garlic & pepper in a soy sauce) with rice. Both very delicious, fresh and in a good portion size. Without ordering it, we were welcomed with prawn crackers & peanut sauce before our Starters and fresh fruits like pineapple after our main dish, not charged extra, for free. A great, unexpected add-on. Service was very friendly, fast, nothing to complain at all. Prices were definitely okay for what we got. Definitely recommending that place.

Excellent service, ambience and food. Do book your table well ahead. The decor is rich and well maintained. Food can be adapted to your taste - especially on spice level. Update after the latest visit - had started to become a regular and it is spoiled now. The last time we went here, our table.was ignored almost deliberately. The orders took longer (which is understandable during peak hours) but people who came after us got their orders first. It is fine that no welcome drinks or final palate cleansers were shared, but the cutlery itself was sticky and we had to ask for replacement. Despite all these horrible experiences, we were shocked when the table attendant directly asked for a tip. I tip regularly but this time - seriously??? Never going back.

Ein schön eingerichtetes Restaurant. Ganz nach dem Motto die "Augen essen mit". Der Service ist durchweg freundlich, teilweise mit starkem asiatischem Akzent aber dann doch nach mehrmaligen fragen verständlich. Hier wird einem auch mit Verständnis begegnet, wenn man nicht gleich versteht und braucht sich daraufhin vermutlich auch keine Sorgen machen, dass sich irgendwelche bösen Überraschungen in der Suppe befinden. Aber wer Saucen standardmäßig auf dem Tisch erwartet wird hier enttäuscht. Bei traditionellen Thais gibt es meistens eine Chilli rot-grün Sauce und eine saure Sauce standardmäßig auf dem Tisch, so hier nicht. Die umfangreiche Speisekarte umfasst einige abwechslungsreichen Speisen mit der Angabe von Schärfegraden in Form von stilisierten Chillis über der jeweiligen Speise. Die gehen von 1 - 3. Ich hatte ein Garnelen Menü mit dem Schärfegrad von 2 Chilis was für meinen Geschmack angenehm war. Aber ein 3 Chili Gericht darf es für meine Geschmackknospen gerne auch mal sein. Beim nächsten Mal! Die Gerichte sind optisch schön angerichtet und geschmacklich auch gut. Aber wie gesagt, kommen mir nicht klassisch thailändisch vor. Zu Anfang, gleich nach der Bestellung gab es ein Häppchen, in Form von Krupuk mit einer selbstgemachten Erdnusssoße, welche richtig lecker war. Leider war ich für den Preis ein bißchen enttäuscht von der Menge der Mahlzeiten. Wir hatten ein Papayasalat bestellt in dem ich die Papayas vermisst hatte. Dadurch das die Soße leicht süßlich schmeckte konnte diese hier verarbeitet worden sein. Auf meine Nachfrage hin, wo den die Papaya sei, hatte ich die Antwort leider wegen dem starken Akzent nicht verstanden. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant, im mittleren Preisegment mit guter Qualität. Nur als Beispiel mein Garnelen Teller kostete 19,90€. Papaya Salat 10,90€. Nachteil: die Menge, deswegen hier nur vier Sterne. Meine dringende Empfehlung: Unbedingt reservieren sonst kriegt man keinen Platz. Das Restaurant ist immer voll. Lasst es euch schmecken 🤤

Tasty food though can be pricey. However, it is to be expected given where you're at. Having had lots of Thai food and a lover of spice myself, I cannot say it's in the top range of Thai restaurants I've visited. However, if you're overseas and craving some Asian food/ Thai, this will do the trick. Just don't compare to Thai food you've had in Thailand if you've visited Thailand. Or if you live in Asia, just come with realistic expectations :) it will satisfy your cravings but it isn't going to blow your mind if that makes sense.

Was craving for authentic Thai food. After a week, I am craving to go back. Some dishes were super authentic like the deep fried whole fish and papaya salad. I have shared pics of the dishes we ordered (forgot the exact names) and my honest feedback on each. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. Service was really good too. One big minus was the charging of 50c for each takeaway package for leftover food. It was the normal foil package and 50c for each is not reasonable especially when we are avoiding food wastage.

My partner and I came here one Sunday night without a reservation and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is lovely on the inside with a very inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay and chill for hours. While the menu is indeed pricey, it’s well worth it. Not only was the food spectacular, so was the service—we were offered complimentary appetizers and a small selection of fruits at the end of the meal. If you’re looking for a delicious, cozy place to eat, I can highly recommend Rabiang Thai Restaurant.
