ALDI SÜD — Local services in Munich

My family used to shop here a lot when I was a kid; it was always quite clean and well-maintained. However, I was shocked during my most recent visit to see this supermarket in such disrepair! From broken meat fridges to dirty and wet floors to lots of exposed wiring and what I'm sure was mold in some coolers - everything made an extremely unsanitary and downright unsafe impression. I'm only rating this branch two stars because it was relatively well stocked at around 7pm (except for veggies) and because I saw the employees try their absolute best under the awful circumstances to get things under control. But it didn't feel safe to me to buy any refrigerated items; I think my pictures explain the reasons I don't trust the cooling cabinets here. ALDI absolutely needs to tackle these issues and renovate the entire store to prevent the employees and customers from getting hurt tripping over those wires, slipping in the puddles of water or getting sick from bacteria in their food! Von der Lage und Erreichbarkeit top: Riesen Parkplatz, U2/Bushaltestellen ca. 150 m entfernt. Tws. gute Angebote (wenn mal die Zentrale ein entsprechendes Kontingent geliefert hat !!), aber tws. auch qualitativ gute Produkte, die tws. deutlich weniger kosten, als die Markenartikel. Wer allerdings Frischeprodukte wie Obst&Gemüse, Backwaren etc. will, ist m.E. hier fehl am Platz !! Sorry ALDI, Ihr seid ein Discounter - bei diesen Produkten hat der Einzelhandel und der Wochenmarkt qualitativ bessere Produkte, auch wenn's dort teurer ist ! Leider nimmt ein Teil des Klientels dieses Makts den Begriff 'Wühltisch' allzu erst - dafür trägt ALDI aber keine Schuld und als Mitarbeiter hätt' ich auch kein Lust, die 'Wühltische' alle 2 Stunden wieder neu zu ordnen, dafür absolutes Verständnis ! Mir ist noch positiv aufgefallen, dass die Kassierer*innen (wohl Alle per Funk verbunden) rasch erkennen, ob aufgrund des Kundenandrangs eine weitere Kasse geöffnet werden sollte - da kann sich macher Supermarkt mal 'e netto-Ecke (!) abschneiden. Hinter den Kassen ist auf den Fensterbänken für alle Kunden ausreichend (an 'Corona' denkt wohl keiner mehr ??) Platz, die Einkäufe einzupacken und es liegen dort auch immer ausreichend Werbe-Prospekte für die nächste Woche parat. Zwei ⭐️ Abzug aufgrund der nicht frischen vermeintlichen Frische-Produkte, ansonsten ...1x die Woche bin ich auf jeden...

I thought I was getting into a regular Aldi - Süd but little I knew. The Aldi - Süd of Frankfürter Ring had something special.
