tl;dr: simple place, simple food with spices and flavor. Tiny water bottles 😂
The place: red carpet, photos of Lebanon and paintings on the wall make up the decor of this cozy, small place of maybe 15-20 tables. You are greeted by a lovely spicy smell coming from the kitchen as you take a seat. Stone patterns on the wall give it a bit of a rustic feeling.
The food: mixed feelings. We got the Masa Classic appetizer mix with some pita and spreads like hummus, a tomato paste and others. Also includes falafel (quite crunchy and very good) and tabbouleh (salad made of parsley and tomato). The spreads were good, while tabbouleh is personally not for me because of the parsley. For main dishes I got the Firri (grilled quails) while fiancée got the Mischwi Mschakkal (mixed of grilled lamb and chicken with rice and salad). Hers was juicy and tasty. The quails had too many small bones and it was a bit difficult to eat (easier with your hands, also a nicer feeling). One of the bones tried to set up camp in my throat but was evicted by a sip of water from the tiniest bottle I’ve ever seen 🤣. As dessert, they offer baklava (delicate and not so sweet, very good) and Qishta, which they call Lebanese panna cota to make it easier for people but it’s actually a doughy coagulated milk thing which they scent with flower water. The taste is hard to describe other than doughy. The texture might be a bit strange for some. Honey goes well with it.
The service: no complaints about it, we got everything in a timely fashion and the server was nice.

Read moreWe visited Restaurant Ksara last week while on vacation in Munich, and it was one of the best dining experiences of our trip. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attentive service.
The food was absolutely delicious—authentic Lebanese flavors with every dish. We tried a variety of mezze, hummus, fattoush, and grilled meats, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing.
What stood out the most was how friendly and helpful the team was, always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal. For the quality of food and service, the prices are very fair.

Read moreKhasara in Munich is a delightful Lebanese restaurant. The Moutabal was fantastic—smooth and full of flavor, blending hummus and Moutabal with a pleasantly tangy kick. The tabbouleh was exceptional, with perfect balance and a vibrant tanginess that truly captured the essence of Lebanese cuisine. It might just be the most authentic tabbouleh you can find among Arabic restaurants in Munich.
We also sampled the cheese and meat sambousek, kibbeh, and batata harra. While the kibbeh and batata harra were good, they could use a bit more refinement. However, the Osmaliyah and Ashta were absolutely delicious.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and the owner was particularly warm and generous. He even served us to some baklava, which was a lovely touch and a true reflection of Lebanese...
